Dirty Talk" is designed to talk to eco-conscious people who are uneasy about whether natural deodorant will actually leave them feeling clean and fresh. In BBH's work, though, the "wildness" of the woman that alienates her partner is actually an inversion: She's wild in the sense that she's not politically correct, actively turned on by the idea of environmental annihilation. Even the thought that her partner is an endangered species gets her off. This storytelling flirts with our tendency to conflate ideas of wildness with being savage, a hangover from how Enlightenment thinkers labeled cultures that didn't align with European ideas about property, religion or civilization (and ultimately justified their genocides). Anyway, the question Wild seems to be asking is who, in this relationship, is actually exhibiting savage behavior? The polar bear wears fresh cotton and sea-salt scented Wild deodorant; it's hard to imagine a scent less evocative of clean white sheets. Adam Newby, Creative Director at BBH, said: “Our ‘Dirty Talk’ campaign for Wild comes from the truth that we are all trying our best right now in a world that seriously stinks. The campaign breaks on 31st May on TV, YouTube paid advertising and social channels, and will run for 12 months.

Eventually she gets so hot that she rolls out of bed, brandishes an aerosol deodorant, and cries, "Spray me!" The active ingredients in the best spray deodorant for men will affect the scent and feel. Some ingredients hydrate the skin, while others offer a cooling sensation. Oh, and some heat the skin a little—making you feel like a marshmallow at a campfire. If you decide to use coconut oil as a deodorant alternative, consider adding a drop or two of an essential oil, such as tea tree, lavender, and lemongrass for a nice scent. In The Man Who Spoke Snakish, Andrus Kivirähk's tale of a hunter-gatherer boy in medieval Estonia, the protagonist's sister is seduced by a bear, and he irritably laments bears' tendency to steal local women. And of course there's Marian Engel's controversial novella Bear. Published in the 1970s, it follows a Canadian archivist who goes to work in northern Ontario, where she tries to initiate a sexual relatonship with a tamed bear.

You probably already know that rubbing alcohol has antibacterial properties. Therefore, it can eliminate odor-causing bacteria in your armpits. To enhance the scent, combine alcohol with witch hazel and a drop or two of an essential oil, such as tea tree, lavender, and lemongrass. How to use: If you prefer the powder form, mix equal amounts of each and apply with your hand by patting the mixture on your armpits. Or, if you prefer a paste, add a small amount of water to 1/8 teaspoon each of baking soda and cornstarch, and mix. Apply with your fingers to your underarms. This is the line too far. Thorvald was maybe into the dirty environmental talk roleplay, but her deodorant sends him into pitch-mode in front of an old-school TV, modeling the various natural benefits of Wild deodorant for his wayward farmed cod of a girlfriend.

Coconut oil has antibacterial properties, so it effectively gets rid of musky scents. You only need to apply it once during the day and it will keep your armpits odor-free. However, using coconut oil on its own has some obvious downsides to it. Because it is an oil, it is greasy and may stain your clothes if you apply too much. To use it more effectively, combine it with equal parts of shea butter and baking soda. How to use: Saturate a cotton ball with the oil and dab onto armpits. Or, if combined with shea butter and baking soda, apply paste-like substance with fingers. Allow to dry completely. 5. Apple Cider Vinegar The Woman Who Married a Bear" is a native Tsimshian story in the Americas, but there is also a variant among the indigenous people of Siberia. Europe is replete with bear stories; King Arthur, in some legends, is said to have been a bear-king before becoming a man. Dirty Talk" looks bonkers on its face, but stories of relationships between bears and women are older than written history, making this a modern take on a sizable lineage. (It might also change how you see Canal+'s own famous bear.) Aimed at an audience that wants to choose sustainable products, but is dubious about the efficacy of natural deodorant, BBH set itself a mission of converting sceptics into believers, with a campaign tapping into the Wild brand’s disruptive energy. Notions of men being anxious about bears stealing women is often read as a reflection of how men have distanced themselves from wildness and are thus contemptuous of it, even as they suspect women can still connect to what, deep down, feels like a loss. (You can guess how, over thousands of years, this becomes propaganda about how the feminine principle is not entirely civilized, or requires top-down control by patriarchal authority.)

Putting on deodorant has probably become an auto-pilot activity for you. After taking a shower and before you get dressed, you roll, spray, or dab it on to prevent your underarms from unpleasant odor. Adam Newby, Creative Director at BBH, said: “Our ‘Dirty Talk’ campaign for Wild comes from the truth that we are all trying our best right now in a world that seriously stinks. None of us are perfect – we have all forgotten our tote bag – and that’s OK. We took this very relatable idea and pushed it to its logical conclusion: a kink positive polar bear, some inter-species pollution play and one of those old TV’s from the last day of school.” There are a lot of reasons for this whole woman-bear thing. Engel's book is often described as a parable for the effects of colonization—how, feeling isolated even from ourselves, we come to fetishize nature and try to possess it in all the ways we can, even when consent is compromised. Older stories, including myths, often convey something about the need for human society to enter into pacts of equilibrium and respect with the wider environment.Wild was founded in 2019 with a mission to shake-up the throwaway culture of bathroom products with high-performing products made from natural ingredients that never compromise on convenience or efficacy. Many deodorants on the market today contain chemicals or minerals such as aluminum, parabens, phthalates, talc, and sulfates. You may be concerned about the about potential health risks associated with such ingredients. Or you may simply prefer to use all natural products. Either way, we’ve compiled a list of nine substitutes for deodorant to introduce into your hygiene routine. 9 Alternatives to Deodorant

You don’t come across many of these these days – three minutes of ‘Dirty Talk’ from BBH for sustainable deodorant brand Wild featuring a frisky (stuffed) polar bear and its date, a confused but eco-conscious young woman. Forgivable in the circumstances. A woman and her seven-foot tall polar bear boyfriend get in the mood for love by talking dirty about their shameful ecological indiscretions, in BBH’s first advertising campaign for disruptive cosmetic brand, Wild Cosmetics. The citric acid in lemon juice is naturally antibacterial and antiseptic, which makes for another good substitute for deodorants. The use of lemon juice neutralizes odor and leaves a naturally pleasant citrus aroma. Wild co-founder and CMO Charlie Bowes-Lyon says: “In a world where there’s plenty to sweat about, Wild hopes to make life a little easier by providing sustainable, highly effective bathroom products that look good and smell good. We’ve already disrupted our category in terms of our product, our service and our mission, and now thanks to our partnership with BBH, we’re disrupting the cookie-cutter advertising that typically goes with it.”Joy Molan, Senior Strategist at BBH added: “When Wild’s competitors are opting for eco worthiness, we decided to disrupt.
