Regular readers will know that I am not keen having electric wires trailing around the garden and that I am a big fan of solar lights etc.

Tony is very aware of the damage that plant-poaching can have on our environment and that stripping plants from their natural habitat is a dangerous thing for the plant and for our environment. But the amazing photographer Jason Ingram did the photos and he did the most amazing job and I think Jason and DK the publisher and me were a little worried about working with me you know me as a photographer working with another photographer. Biography: Tony Le-Britton is a self-taught grower and prolific houseplant collector of some of the world's rarest plants. It covers the science of what’s going on with your plants in a way that’s not going to overwhelm most people. The cover tells us that this is a book of ‘ comprehensive care for extraordinary houseplants‘ and it is exactly that. So, it's really interesting, but definitely a difficult one to find definitive answers on things that will really support what you're writing.

Our method of being sustainable is making sure someone leaves knowing exactly how to care for that plant.

So they're the they're the peaks for me, because it's not only sharing amazing things, but it was also almost exciting me a little bit more as well. This week's show featured the tracks Roll Jordan Roll by the Joy Drops, The Road We Use To Travel When We Were Kids by Komiku and Overthrown by Josh Woodward. Great For your garden and even greater for the planet 💜 and don't forget to use code POTTINGBENCH on plantgrow. Because I think a lot of people think Malaysia's warm, let's put it in the warm and they just rot, they melt. And I've loved for the last year seeing people coming in who've either fit my favour or people who failed with houseplants before or it's their first houseplant.I should have taken a photograph to show you the two pieces but I confess my excitement to put it together meant I just got straight on with construction. The book is just a bit smaller than a coffee table book, and is printed on thick paper with lots of lovely images of some beautiful plants throughout. And I think in a way, it's, that's what I love about houseplants is that they are such an amazing combination of science, of art, of culture, and that we need to bring that into the way we look at them rather than as you say, sort of like these household remedies of stick a banana on the top of it.

Not only is this expertly written and backed up by Tony’s only experiences, but the photography (by Jason Ingram) only adds to making this a book of real importance for the houseplant community. The technical storage or access is strictly necessary for the legitimate purpose of enabling the use of a specific service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user, or for the sole purpose of carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network.
