The foam inlay houses the airbrush perfectly and nicely re-echoes the brand with the colour showing the ALL-STAR VERSATILITY airbrushes. The Eclipse is fantastic, so easy to control the paint floor and does an excellent job of finer lines and laying down large coats.

Iwata Eclipse airbrushes come with a head cap spanner that is used to remove the head cap when accessing the nozzle.Iwata designed these airbrushes as multi-purpose, with high paint flow and detail to cover many uses. Unlike other Iwata airbrushes the Eclipse CS has a special ‘ floating nozzle‘ which is easier and less delicate to take apart to change. If all I can put in the negative column are issues about how Iwata chooses to name them or that the box it comes in is cardboard rather than plastic.

The quick-flush cutaway cutaway handle allows easy access to the needle so that you can quickly empty the paint reservoir for cleaning. Eclipse Series offers a broad spray range, as compared to other airbrushes, where it is possible to achieve a controlled fine line to controlled wide spray.I have only limited experience with Model Air paints, but my impression (and I've seen many comments that agree) is that it's pretty thick to spray without thinning, using the same airbrush. Another good sign of quality is that each airbrush is tested, and the test sheet is included in the box. There's a little piece of paper in the box upon which the quality control tester has used your airbrush to check all is well. The second great feature of this Eclipse HP-CS airbrush is the integrated 1/3oz cup seamlessly welded into the airbrush body, so it can’t be removed by screwing it off.
