Definitely recommending this one to all the contemporary enemies to lovers romance loving people out there. I am sure you all will dig this one and fall for Finn and Dia just like me!

Again, I’m not a YA reader but I will be reading this series. I hope Eliah continues to bring the same passion, steam and emotions that Dear Love I Hate You brought. While the characters may be young, she brought just the perfect amount of a bit too much drama without crossing the line into the ridiculous. It does deal with some serious issues like suicide and adultery but it was done in a way that was honest, raw & real. It showed the tragic effects on those left behind and if you love angst & books that destroy you emotionally, then this is the book to tear your heart to shreds. Aveena and Xavier become secret pen-pals by chance and their romance is bulding slowly and I really appreciated this. I am tired of insta-love as the norm. Eliah truly has an original writing style and her sense of writing an interesting plot filled with a lot of drama, but also funny and steamy moments is incredible. The confessions that they left in the library is found and posted all over the school with a new form facebook group “whoisZacandLove” (their pen names)

Diamond Mitchell is so witty, sassy and kind. I loved how she didn’t let anyone get to her and how she wanted to make a name for herself and didn’t put up with nonsense. I adored her patience, kindness and everything in between. I loved how she balanced Finn out and their banter was wholeheartedly amusing to read.

I was given an ARC of this book courtesy of the author via Wildfire Marketing. The excerpts are from that copy. I am voluntarily reviewing this title. ★ I love Eliah Greenwood’s writing. The minute she announces a new release I cannot wait to get my grabby little hands on it. Dear Love, I Hate You was no exception. I was so engrossed in this story I quite literally couldn’t put it down!Lets break it down shall we? We follow Aveena or “vee”, a very “relatable” girl because she reads and works in the library and has the whole “shes hot but she doesn’t know it which makes her hotter” thing going on. On one fine day, she gets tired of being in her prodigy sisters shadow and writes an anonymous letter cursing everyone and everything and accidently leaves it in the library (like we all have at one point in our life) Dear Love, I Hate You is a standalone full length by Eliah Greenwood. It's told from both POV with a happy ending. Genres: Young Adult romance | Sports romance Tropes: Secret Pen Pals | enemies to Lovers If you two don't get your shit together ASAP, all the wooden spoons in my Portuguese grandmother's arsenal are going to find your ass cheeks with laser precision. Tbh I loved the pen pal part it was charming and witty an Aveena is multi-dimensional. She has a complicated life for an 18 year old. But she is grounded and smart. Sure, she makes some stupid decisions but she is only 18. I could relate to her a lot. The bullying that she endures was frustrating but not as much as the school's attitude.

Overall: I don’t HATE this book, it was what you would expect going into a highschool bully romance, it was fun and very fast, I finished it in one day! I feel like if you like Deviant King or Dear Ava; you would like this book. Dia and Finn are a couple that you'll love even though sometimes their behavior will give you a headache, they're still teenagers who make a lot of mistakes and just learning what it means to live in the real world. Aveena is beautiful, crazy smart, sassy in her own right and too kind for her own good. She has a complicated life for an 18 year old, feeling like Cinderella in her own house at times. I could relate a lot with her in many of her thoughts and I loved her personality! One angry hate letter, an evacuation and a lost letter later and she has secured herself an arrogant, frustrating and argumentative pen pal! At first she is enraged that someone had the balls to not only reply to a letter than wasn’t meant to be seen but to correct her spelling and give her a few unwanted facts. As time goes by she can’t get enough, looks forward to receiving them.. will it have a happy ending? Secrets shared with a stranger can’t be too dangerous can it?

Now here’s something you should know: while Vee’s deepest confession was that she slept with her sisters boyfriend; xav confessed that he saw his mother sleeping with a minor. And hence he needs to “date” Brie (cheerleader psycho) to keep his mothers secret. This is Eliah’s best work to date! She really outdid herself with this one! Dear love, i hate you is something really else. It wasn’t your cliche bad boy-good girl books but it had its moments too!
