Play Aces and 2s right away. Get your foundation piles started as soon as possible. If any Aces are playable, move them to your foundation piles. As soon as 2s are available, play those as well. A Treasure card is revealed. The Treasure card shows a number of gems. Divide them equally to the players still in the expedition; any leftovers are left on the card.

Focus on revealing face-down cards. Surfacing as many cards as possible increases the options you’ll have for making moves and allows you to plan ahead. I mentioned the chests earlier. There is one for each of the eight players in different colours and emblazoned with the name of a trepid explorer on the front. They are well made and really add something to the game. The feeling is great when you escape the depths, heavy with loot and pour it all into your little chest. Plus it's fun watching everyone shake them between rounds to gauge who is winning. Brilliant fun. It’s a new creative form of diamond painting pixel art that has taken the world by storm! Let's get started with diamond painting by number! The good thing for those who return to camp is that they don’t just keep the rubies they have collected on the journey so far, but also evenly divvy up those gems that were left on the tiles. So those 3 jewels from my example above can look very tasty if you’re the only one who decides not to continue. That is, until the next tile has an even bigger amount of rubies on it, of course.Mix into this the artefacts that are not split at all when they are flipped over. These artefacts can only be collected by one player when they leave and one player only. They cannot be split at all, so when a beefy artefact comes up, do you leave to grab it? What if someone tries to leave with you? Then no one gets it. Every card that is flipped creates a great dynamic around the table. Players are yelling greedy at each other, everyone is laughing and it is a lot of fun, even when you make misjudgments. Components Gems and Chests

If multiple players are leaving at the same time, no one takes the Relic cards. However, if only one player leaves, they take all Relics in the cave, which give them Diamonds as follows: The tableau: The main area of gameplay is the tableau, which is made up of 7 columns of 28 cards laid out from left to right. The first column consists of one card, and the subsequent columns have an additional card until the last column has 7. The last card in each column is face-up, while the rest remain face-down until revealed. Hydro Powered VehiclesLarge hydro powered machines used for a variety of uses, from digging resources and finding ore veins, to transporting goods. After this, if there are still some people in the expedition, continue with the next round. Otherwise, the expedition ends. If you fall into a trap, you will flee towards the exit, leaving all of your treasures behind you, and return to camp empty-handed. and with shaking knees!Alan R. Moon talked with various American publishers and the U.S. edition of the game was published in late 2006 by Sunriver Games. The publishers wanted to rename it "The Temple of Doom" but went with Incan Gold because of legal issues. Faidutti noted that Incan Gold had some changes from Diamant. The rules stayed the same, but Incan Gold does not have cardboard chests or wooden pawns, and artifact cards were added to the game. [4] Awards [ edit ] Reveal face-down cards in tableau columns. Once a face-up card on top of a face-down card is moved, it will be turned face-up and available to play.

Barricade Tiles allow you to follow the progression of the game. They are numbered 1 to 5 and close the entrances to the Tacora Cave, one after the other, after each round. Each player counts the Precious Stones they put in their Chest, as well as those on the Relic cards they gathered, and converts them into victory points: The goal in Diamant is simple. Throughout five rounds, collect as much treasure as you can and hopefully have more than the other players by the end of the game. Sounds easy right? A few clever wrinkles in this game make getting out alive and laden with treasure, fraught with drama and indecisiveness.Use the hint or undo button. You can use our hint button to help you identify which cards to move or our undo button to try different moves. Place a Barricade tile on the game board to close the cave entrance corresponding to the round that just ended. Move a group of sequenced cards. To do so, the highest-ranking card in the group must be placed on a card that is an alternate higher and one rank higher.
