On songs like EARFQUAKE he really shows how much sadness he is feeling while there are songs like WHATS GOOD and NEW MAGIC WAND where he is almost trying to act like he does not care. The building layers of sound and voices, peaking once at the halfway mark, and then coming back up for the drop? This, as well as a new magic wand, are a turning point in the story as he gets more and more angry with his “lover”. The limited edition "mint" pressing is by Memphis Record Pressing, an arm of GZ Media and that edition has not yet arrived.

The track is a beautiful, triumphant closer, using very few lyrics to get across the idea that an unstable Igor is desperately trying to fix things with his former love interest. Tyler wrote "Running Out of Time" while taking a break from a recording session with American rapper ASAP Ferg, feeling reassured after Kendrick Lamar told Tyler he appreciated his singing.

At first everything sounded fine, and then through certain songs, the vocals seem to be drowned out by the instrumentals, which wasn’t really there in the digital version. The song seems to function as an extended interlude, but the beat switch, closing verse by Tyler, and another subsequent beat switch mean that it functions well enough as a standalone song.

This theme continues, with the instrumental samples and vocals crowded in static and fuzz, while more modern sounding synths and pitched vocals wind their way across the track. The lyrics act more as another instrument throughout most of this record, and not a thing to be studied. This song even includes a MASSIVE beat switch, as the song descends into an 808 filled wall of noise as Igor describes psychotic visions, near death experiences, and seeing the light, as the beat falls away to reveal a spaced out piano outro.

In the unfortunate situation that a product is damaged/faulty/incorrect, let us know and we will endeavor to correct any issue as soon as possible. In a mixed review, The Guardian 's Dean Van Nguyen stated: "It's no bad thing that Igor downplays Tyler's indomitable personality – but the writing and execution do not quite replace what has been lost. The album is a collection of eleven videos recorded from Tyler's first live performance of Igor, performed in May 2019. While also perfectly illustrating the turning point where igors dark side starts to show itself, and overcome his care for his love interest.

No skipping, only two slight bumps at the very end of "Earfquake", but other than that a flawless record. Even if we completely ignore every perfect vocal performance, or any story or conceptual additions to this album it would still likely be in my top 10 of all time. Can sellers who aren’t selling this with the sticker and poster stop listing it under this specific release? Several beat skips and a dissonant midi string dominate the tracks second half, transitioning into the next songs sweeter melodic overtones. Narratively, igor is slowly coming to terms with the fact that he truly has moved on from his infatuation. The screamed closer and tonal loop if you repeat the album indicate to the listener that this won’t end well for him. Indeed, it’s too late; I’ve totally gone off the deep end while obsessing over Tyler, the Creator’s 2019 masterpiece IGOR. The song cuts off seemingly out of nowhere, at a depressing lull in mood, where Igor ceases to speak at all. The vocals, again acting as an instrument for the beginning of the track, work beautifully in tandem with the magical synths throughout the album. The singing on this track is superb, and represents the beginning of the concept/story of the album, showing his introduction to the lover.

Thank you breaks this down further by allowing igor to pour his heart out, thanking his partner for everything they had, and saying he never wants to fall in love again. The bridge, with its intense bass line and simple and far synth is so cool, and the beat switches to his pure rage and even harder bass line is so cool. At Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from professional publications, the album received an average score of 81, based on 18 reviews. With that bass line going throughout, lasting to the end, and the introduction of a new synth which lasts like 15 seconds and leaves. The section where the drums drop out and the vocals harmonise over the piano chords hits so hard, the voices almost meld into each other and they’re such a perfect intro to the soul elements, along with the closing fuzzy synth section, which in turn introduces the albums more distorted elements.

Igor arrives after Tyler pours out all of his heart for his love interest, though his love interest remains focused on his ex-boyfriend. This track, as well as others, are so densely packed, and do so much throughout its runtime, that it could be dissected for ages. And when he says I got my thing, you got your thing, and it does that weird sound, ahhh I just love it. I Don't Love You Anymore" shows Igor admitting to losing his feelings towards the man, but the following song "Are We Still Friends?
