Our Leather Paint is designed to paint custom designs onto leather. If you are looking to repair leather, then you should use our Leather Repair Kit. 1 - Preparing the leather for painting Our Leather Paint contains Leather Finish, so it is not necessary to apply any additional finishing coats. However, you may wish to apply either Leather Finish or our Natural Leather Finish if you want to alter the shine or feel.

Acrylic paints are typically made with pigments and acrylic polymer emulsion. When wet, they become water-resistant which makes them perfect for surfaces that need protection. Can you use acrylic paint on a leather item? Using a spray bottle to apply a little rubbing alcohol on the leather surface, or gently add the rubbing alcohol with a toothbrush. You can use our Leather Repair Paint to repair minor scuffs, scratches and colour-loss on sofas, car seats/interiors, clothing, handbags, and all other leather items. Apply a primer coat and allow it to fully dry. Using a primer that is ideal for the board. Some primers, such as plastic and metal, are specially designed to bind to smooth surfaces; To seal your paint you can simply spray a paint finisher over the top or use a dilutable paint finisher and dab it on lightly. You should give your design 24 hours to dry fully once you have applied the finisher.

The Leather Repair Paint is supplied in a standard range of common leather colours, but it can also be supplied in specific car colours or matched to any colour you require. There is also a larger range of custom colours available, and all colours of Leather Paint can be mixed together to match any colour desired.
