Not that it didn’t give me any boost at all but this one was more subtle in comparison. I did have a bit of trouble on softer terrain around El Retiro where the impact on the slightly wet and squishy ground made it feel like I wasn’t as stable as I was on harder surfaces. I think the shoes could last many miles. The tread looks extremely durable. The bottom of my pair only has 40 miles running on them, so it may be hard to tell how they will look after 400 miles. The traction of this shoe is really good, and I liked that it kept my toes nice and warm in colder conditions. If you like a more minimally cushioned ride with more ground feel, this could be a good shoe for you.

It’s great that most running shoes are very breathable, but when it’s freezing outside, so are my toes. So, I think it’s a good thing more winter shoes are being released.
