UV printing is a more cost-effective method to apply dolls’ faces as spraying seems to be less common in the doll industry these days. Though the Roxxi and Nevra dolls have been around for a minute (Roxxi was introduced in 2004 and Nevra made her debut in 2003), the two came out as girlfriends during Pride Month 2020 when Bratz spotlighted the two on social media as an out-and-proud couple! Make sure to check out my YouTube unboxing video for another look at the dolls, and subscribe for more Bratz videos.

I feel like a better shoe mold could have been used and the unpainted details makes the shoes look a bit cheap; not to mention the shoes make Roxxi shorter, thus making her more difficult to position on her stand.

For more than 20 years, the Bratz brand has remained true to its values of inclusivity and authenticity, and the Bratz Pride x Jimmy Paul collaboration speaks volumes to this commitment. From in-depth storytelling on the fight for LGBTQ+ rights to intimate profiles of queer cultural vanguards, it’s a platform for all of the bold, stylish, and rebellious ways that LGBTQ+ people are reshaping our world every day. Share your love for Cloe, Jade, Sasha and Yasmin, and let's keep the Bratz spirit alive and kicking! MGA says Bratz characters Roxxi and Nevra embody values of self-expression, confidence and inclusion that both the Bratz brand and the LGBTQ community stand for.

If you don’t know already, this body is a hybrid of the original 2001 torso and legs with arms from the Movie dolls from 2007 and hands from the 2013 bodies.Just like most Bratz releases in the past year aside from common variants of the 20 Yearz Special Edition dolls, Roxxi and Nevra have nylon hair. The set will include new versions of classic dolls Roxxi and Nevra, who were revealed to be girlfriends in 2020 during the brand’s 20th anniversary celebration. Nylon hair appears to be a new standard for the Bratz brand, as is the case for most MGA doll brands (except for Dream Ella who has been using polypropylene, sorry girl! I like this body, but I feel the fashions from this collection are not flattering on this body type. Ever since the first pictures of the Bratz x JimmyPaul Pride 2-Pack leaked back in May, social media has been in a frenzy with opinions about this collab!

One of my favorite “easter eggs” in this collection is the “Roxxi <3 Nevra” written on the bottom side of the cap, which you can see pictured in the gallery.

S., announced today an all-new Pride Collection inspired by fan-favorite Bratz® characters and girlfriends, Roxxi and Nevra. Notre newsletter contient des pixels espions nous permettant la fourniture à chaque abonné, d’un contenu unique en lien avec ses souscriptions et intérêts. As I opened the box, there was a notecard (also pictured in the gallery) and rainbow-themed tissue paper that revealed the two-pack when opened. While the PR box and notecard will not be available for purchase, I do want to point out how special it was to receive this box and the experience of opening it. My hope is that the collection brings a glimpse of hope and power and serves as a reminder of both the vibrancy of the community and the gravity of LGBTQ affairs today.

If you don’t keep up with JimmyPaul on Instagram, he has posted many messages about how important it was for him to design this collection and what it meant to him. One of the unique elements of this collaboration is that it offers adult apparel designed by Jimmy Paul which allows the Bratz fans to not only collect the limited-edition dolls, but also dress alike and celebrate this important occasion in a unique fan offering," Difuzed's chief operating officer Gustavo Antonioni added. RAINBOW DISPLAY PACKAGING: The back of the packaging folds open to reveal a beautiful rainbow and also includes a window so Roxxi and Nevra can be flipped around for display.

With SNL’s Bratz sketch — in which a bunch of sassy Bratz Dolls came to life to help guide a young girl through her parents’ divorce — still ringing in our airs from last weekend, it seems the plastic preteens with the inexplicably pumped up lips are back in the ol’ zeitgeist. At the end of the day, the dolls have been produced and there is no turning back on what has been released. Oozing colorful, Y2K goodness, Roxxi and Nevra come packaged in a gorgeous, holographic, multifunctional box -- featuring illustrations by Jimmy Paul -- that can be used as a rainbow-arched-shaped backdrop for display purposes! Nevra also comes with a pair of female sex symbol earrings, as well as platform shoes featuring the inclusive LGBT+ flag colors. We are proud to announce this culturally significant collection and collaboration with Jimmy Paul and express our support for the LGBTQ community through a charitable donation to The Trevor Project," said Jasmin Larian, Bratz Creative Director and daughter of MGA Entertainment's Founder and CEO, Isaac Larian.
