Being part of a healthy community where everyone helps each other can help foster strong principles of Oneness. This gives us the opportunity to serve others, as well as understand our own journey in a deeper manner. It can also help us realize that a single human affects all, indirectly or directly. A human being is part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. We experience ourselves, our thoughts and feelings as something separate from the rest. A kind of optical delusion of consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from the prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty. The true value of a human being is determined primarily by the measure and the sense in which they have obtained liberation from the self. We shall require a substantially new manner of thinking if humanity is to survive. — Albert Einstein Moreover, enlightenment focuses on the ascending journey of the human mind. It emphasizes the love and light that we need to spread among our fellow human beings and in our own lives. And while that is an extremely important aspect of existence, we also need to embrace the descending journey of the human mind.

A lot of spiritual experiences can be glimpsed only through mindfulness. Although this practice has become quite mainstreamed, it does not mean that there is no value to it. However, it should be noted that most of the mainstream mindfulness practices are quite diluted. For example, Christianity says that all of us come from God and are the children of God. If we function keeping this in mind, we would be less likely to hurt other people. When we perceive without interpreting or mental labelling, which means without adding thought to our perceptions, we can still sense the deeper connectedness underneath our perception of seemingly separate things.” Get all of our enlightening and heart-opening Journals in one convenient bundle. Perfect for those on the spiritual journey who are serious about bone-deep healing and transformation.Mindfulness which means paying attention to the present moment can help you in sharpening your ability to recognize your positive as well as negative qualities. This awareness forms the foundational basis of Oneness. 3. Spending time in nature Happy couple embracing at sunset in the nature And it is evident that this is the current state of the world. Most of us are struggling with loving and embracing our true self on a consistent basis. But we have to ask ourselves how we can do that when we love only some parts of us and suppress the others. This is why integration, Wholeness, and Oneness are important.

Just like it does not make sense for one part of the body to hurt the other, or for your blood vessels to destroy your own bones, Oneness does not allow us to hurt other people. When we experience Oneness with all forms of life, we will realize that destroying others is the same as destroying our own self. According to Advaita Vedanta, the entire universe is made of pure consciousness. Therefore, all the substances, living beings, and nature itself are the same and the separation between them is just a mistake of our perspective. Different religions have different beliefs about the philosophy of Oneness, but most of them are based on the idea that all human beings and life on earth have a common origin. Despite the difference in names and terminology, the concept of Oneness and Wholeness percolates through all cultures and societies. Ultimately, Oneness and wholeness seem so alien to us because we perceive our inner and external worlds through the fragmented lens of the mind. And by the way … the whole concept of an inner and outer world is itself a division created by the mind! Do you see how deeply embedded into our realities the mind and its concepts are? Is Oneness the Same as Enlightenment? Like Oneness, the term ‘enlightenment’ is also thrown around a lot on the spiritual path. But are they the same thing? Yes. In my perspective, they are the same thing. However, I don’t like using the phrase enlightenment because it’s such a loaded word.Examples of plant medicine include ayahuasca, San Pedro, psilocybin mushrooms, peyote, DMT, and marijuana. How do these plants help us experience moments or periods of Oneness? The answer is that they temporarily remove, alter, or distort the fragmented lens of the mind. Once the veil of our limited perception has been removed, there is space for us to experience a more whole and integrated version of reality. He added that as humans, our task must be to be free of this illusion, and to not restrict our compassion to just a few people around us. We should embrace all the living beings and the entirety of nature and creation. Further, he stated that the true value of a human being lies in how much he has managed to liberate himself.

Even though Oneness has the potential for all the sounds in the world, in itself, it is silent. It is believed in Hinduism that the entirety of the Universe and creation has emerged from the silence of Oneness, and the first sound or vibration that emerged from this silence is Om. Our mental consciousness and brain setup is enough to help us understand, imagine, plan, and even create life. It is extremely difficult for us to confluence ideas, beliefs, thoughts, and concepts according to the principle of Oneness. The biological chemistry of our brains, along with the societal setup prevents that from happening. Despite the author’s encouragement to read the book that was distilled into this one,I found myself understanding it very well, although I had read others of its kind.I wouldn’t recommend it for a beginner. We must seek to reunite with the lost parts of ourselves and develop psychological balance. Only then can we experience authentic spiritual Oneness. Examples of integration-centered inner work include shadow work and inner child work. 5. REAL Self-love, compassion, and acceptance The collective disease of humanity is that people are so engrossed in what happens,so hypnotised by the world of fluctuating forms,so absorbed in the content of their lives, they have forgotten the essence, that which is beyond content, beyond form, beyond thought. They are so consumed by time that they have forgotten eternity, which is their origin, their home, their destiny.Eternity is the living reality of who you are.”I can frankly say that plant medicine has changed my life. I have had some intense and paradigm-shifting experiences of ego death and merging with all of existence. Skeptics suggest that such experiences are meaningless hallucinations, but these profound glimpses into the Ultimate Reality have been validated by my own sober everyday experience. The only thing I can say is that you must experience itto believe it. If you haven’t tried plant medicine yet, I recommend doing some thorough research and giving it a try. 4. Inner work that focuses on integration
