A fairly mild bit of zombie horror spun off from Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead, this graphic novel is actually a sequel to a series of Telltale video games (that I haven't seen) where the Clementine character first appeared.

They duck down until they're gone, but then Clementine comes down with a fever, though she insists that she can keep going. After Clementine dispatches a zombie, Amos notices her limping and lets her ride in the back of his buggy. Olivia reveals to Clementine that her first memory in life is crying with her and her sister rolling on the floor screaming. Though she is portrayed as being understanding and kind with her daughter, she, too, has found herself exasperated with her daughter's uncooperativeness (such as in the first book of the series, where Clementine constantly somehow finds herself in trouble through the course of a single week at school). First and foremost a comic book creator, Kirkman has seen groundbreaking success in the adaptation of his comic book titles into major franchises in all forms of content.Clementine says that walkers are the reason their parents are dead and the world is a pile of garbage.

The book is more or a survival tale instead of a zombie horror book but that is what I have liked most about the Walking Dead universe.Characters don't make rational decisions, they make decisions to send the story in the direction Walden wants them to go without laying any groundwork why they would make said decision. The story surrounds strangers collaborating on building a mountaintop living space away from the zombies roaming beneath, each member running from their own traumas and trying to find themselves in a new world where danger lurks around every corner and painful memories are biting their heels. John is excited about the plan and Fen asks Clementine if she's okay, Clementine says she just wants to fix something.
