In London, at that time, and in other places around the world - there was so much going on for members of my community. The LGBTQ+ community, we were being oppressed so badly. It wasn’t okay to be gay in the '80s and the '90s. But in Ibiza, we could be who we wanted to be, we could wear what we wanted to wear, and nobody would bat an eyelid.
