The Aperta has moved another step forward in terms of design, aesthetics, quality, and performance.

We will not, without your express consent, supply your personal information to any third party for their or any other third party’s direct marketing. Fed a steady diet of Langhorne Slim, Sia, Ben Folds, and Mazzy Star, each loudspeaker held a much tighter grip on each performer – sharpening the lines around them within the recording space. Listening to Hank Mobley’s Workout(Tidal/16-bit/44.1kHz), there was a noticeable change in the solidity of the percussion, and overall focus of the music. The presentation also seemed to move slightly forward without becoming more aggressive in the top end. Depending on the loudspeaker, I did perceive a tinyreduction in midrange energy – but the improvements in focus, detail, transparency, and bass solidity were evident across the board. ISO-Acoustics says product testing was done at the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) labs—that’s the same facility where the PSB Alpha P5 bookshelf speakers I tried these with were also tested. Results Collection and delivery costs are included for the first 2 years in the event of an item becoming faultyPlease note that this extended warranty is currently only available on products sold within the UK, EU or EEA, and is subject to the terms and conditions as detailed on the extended warranty certificate provided. This Section G sets out our data retention policies and procedure, which are designed to help ensure that we comply with our legal obligations regarding the retention and deletion of personal information. It can be used on a wide range of surfaces from desktops and consoles to floor stands, meter bridges and much more. They work by isolating your monitors/speaker for surfaces where energy could be transferred, resulting in colouration and unwanted vibration. Features All loudspeakers, whether active monitors, or guitar/bass amps, tend to exhibit cabinet vibrations. Sometimes those vibrations are intentional and sometimes not but, either way, if allowed to pass into the structure on which the speaker is resting that structure can start to vibrate in sympathy, adding unwanted colorations to the sound.

Electronica came across with more zip; Aphex Twin, Kraftwerk, and Tangerine Dream took on another level of engagement with the music sounding more forward.

Isolating Your Speakers

I use the Gaia III under my speakers and they have provided noticeable improvement getting rid of excessive bass that was going nowhere, now they sound more precise and better balanced. Speakers placed directly on any surface are bound to vibrate that surface and lead to (at the very least) a little bit of sound colouration. To rectify this problem you should have rubber feet beneath each monitor but, even then, it’s unlikely that you will isolate everything. Please let us know if the personal information that we hold about you needs to be corrected or updated. I am also aware of a much greater body of experience, by numbers at least, of others who have tried them and found, as one might expect from their design that they add nothing to TTs; this appears to include your experience. They offer a fair amount of surface grip and it takes deliberate effort to adjust the speaker position. Lifting a speaker up they remain suctioned to the base of the speaker.

I was very careful to write that they were 'not designed for', 'ouught not to', etc. I was also careful not to write that they do not work with TTs in any circumstances.

Main Features

If an item can not be repaired, a similar alternative product or cash discount (as defined in this policy) will be offered They are very well made. Rather than being a single piece they are a cap piece over a fractionally smaller diameter base piece. Pushing gently down on the speaker there's a springy suspension between the cap and base. I am quite aware that some have reported success with the Gaia under TTs but have not seen any rational reasoning as to why that should be the case as yet (and yes I have read HW's posts). Let alone any coherent reasoning as to why a directional support should be better with non-directional components than a non-directional support.

For customers in outlying areas of the country, the price of the Extended Warranty may be marginally higher, due to the potential for higher collection and redelivery transport costs. IsoAcoustics kindly sent me a set to try out with the bookshelf loudspeakers currently making music at home, which include the Polk Audio L100, Klipsch RP-600M, Quad S-2, Wharfedale Diamond 10.1, PSB Alpha P5, and Q Acoustics 3030i. if we believe that the documents may be relevant to any ongoing or prospective legal proceedings; andThe results with each pair were fairly uniform; I tried each loudspeaker on a CB2 media unit and inverted IKEA Kallax bookshelf. Every attempt to use them on loudspeaker stands ended in failure due to concerns about stability on the top plate and child safety.
