Description

The game starts off following Lee, a former professor who is on his way to jail for murder. The apocalypse begins to unfold around him, and he manages to escape the police car. Lee ends up in a paternal role caring for a girl (Clementine) with missing parents, trying desperately to keep them both alive and to reunite her with her family.

A side-scrolling beat ’em up, Bloody Zombies throws increasingly difficult opposition your way with the undead just becoming more and more outlandish. The difficulty spikes are a real bummer, though things do improve if you have a friend to share the pain with. The player confronts several alien lifeforms that invaded Earth due to a teleport accident. The most prominent foes are humans zombified by some aliens called 'headcrabs'. An open-world, voxel-based, role-playing survival RPG set in the aftermath of a third world war. The player controls a survivor trapped in Arizona in the year 2034, where zombies run rampant after an unknown virus infects the remaining surviving population. The player must find food, water, weapons, and other supplies, as well as craft and build up defenses to survive against the relentless horde of the undead.Taking your small sanctuary and building on it before spreading across the map and offering a real chance of salvation for survivors is one of the bright spots in State of Decay. The going is tough and the hits never really stop coming, but with a ragtag group at your disposal, there isn’t much you can’t overcome. Both games follow interesting storylines, with the first game taking place on an abandoned cruise ship that’s full of zombies and the second game taking place on a disarmingly remote island. The spin-off features many iconic locations and scenarios from the series including the prison, which will feel nice and familiar to The Escapists fans. We’ve also decided to cheat a little here by including the 2019 remake for Resident Evil 2, which might actually be one of the best remakes ever regardless of medium. It is respectful of the source material while adding plenty of unique flavourings of its own. Don’t make us choose between them, we beg. I’m of the opinion that Wii Party U is one of the most underrated games Nintendo has released in the past decade. It was so charming, fun, had loads of clever and replayable modes and content and actually used asymmetrical multiplayer, unbeknownst to many. What many prejudiced as a generic party game in an endless sea of them on Wii U was legitimately fantastic.

Days To Die might almost be a decade old, but what it did for the zombie genre can’t be ignored. Because it wasn’t just a zombie game where you shoot everything in sight. Rather, it was one that mixed open-world gameplay, tower defense, RPG elements, a rich story and FPS fun for all to enjoy. Because in this game from Crytek, you are on the hunt for monsters in a set of big areas. The catch though is that you’re not the only ones going after these creatures. In unique PVPVE gameplay, you’ll need to watch your step and aim true at not just the monsters you’re going after, but the people who want to get the glory at your expense. And if you die? You leave behind what you had, and thus start over from basically the beginning. Taking you from the remote island found in the original to the streets of Louisiana, you must, well, survive. A top-down adventurer, How to Survive feels hugely unfair at times, thanks to the almost crippling amount of micro-managing you have to take part in; drinking and eating are almost as important as fending off the dead. But then again, wouldn’t the end of world itself take a bit of getting used to?

Overview

Dead Island is one of those titles that was supposed to get a sequel but it never really worked out for various reasons. But that doesn’t mean the original game was bad. In fact, it took a lot of people by surprise when it arrived over 10 years ago. The House of the Dead: Overkill is a first-person rail shooter and is part of the famous House Of The Dead arcade series. It serves as a prequel to the first entry and the first title to be developed exclusively for home consoles. Meanwhile, previous console versions were simply arcade ports. The story follows the hilarious duo agent G and detective Isaac as they try to investigate a zombie outbreak occurring in the small town of Bayou City Louisiana. A multi-player mod of the Unreal Engine later released as a standalone game. Players assume the role of squad members that must stop increasingly powerful waves of zombie-like clone soldiers. [62] [63] By no means the most mature or accomplished zombie game on this list, Dead Nation claims a deserved place because of one very simple factor. Fun. For all the dark, emotionally manipulative titles that make up the subgenre, sometimes you just need to shoot some zombies lots and lots of times.

game in which the player must guide either a team of four characters or a single character through 17 stages of play, rescuing survivors and fighting zombies. [44] World War Z is reminiscent of games I used to rent for a weekend and have straightforward fun with with some friends. It’s neither too light nor too heavy, and doesn’t pretend to be anything other than what it is: pure popcorn entertainment.”

Hailed as one of the best games ever made, Half-Life 2 continues the story of the original game, putting you in control of Martin Freeman as you try and save the world from an unending alien invasion. There were so many other great ideas designed to cause chaos in Wii Party as well. Pair Games split players into duos and pitted partnerships against one another. My favourite Pair Game was easily Friend Connection. Friend Connection made players answer a series of questions to see which pair knew each other best; what does your partner like more, unicorns or rainbows? Would they rather dive in head first or feet first? Seems simple enough but it’s all too easy to overthink these things, especially under a time limit! Ain’t No Party Like a Wii U Party On the whole, it plays well and looks decent. There’s plenty of content to keep you busy, and it has a good sense of progression to it as well. Dying Light

A surreal game where an outbreak of zombies infects many classic fairy tale settings, leaving only Little Red Riding Hood and Momotarō to defend themselves from the invasion. [68]However, while some games get really bad reputations for hanging around in Early Access for too long, Zomboid seems to have one of the most understanding, patient communities out there. Why? Because what’s available to play right now is more than enough game already with so many different opportunities to get lost in your zombie apocalypse role-play, and every update TIS add is meaningful and genuinely improves the experience.
