Btw, a layering suggestion: little squirt of Al-Rehab Soft and four generous sprays of Jeanne Arthes Boum Vanille Sa Pomme d'Amour. FYI a colleague thought I was wearing Lush Vanillary. I have never smelled that so I have no idea if that is an accurate observation or not, but take it for what it's worth. I do see the similarities with Pink Sugar but in contrast to what others have experienced I find the synthetic burned sugar vibe that I disliked about that one a lot more prominent in this Soft - at least in Pink Sugar it went away after the opening, while it seems to dominate all the way through in this one. It's not bad exactly but it definitely isn't good either. I bought this and i sprayed it on my t shirt but sadly the next day i got the worst food poisoning so i was feeling nauseous and the scent lasted on my shirt for a long time i kept getting wafts of it so eventually i couldn’t stand it anymore : ( Later I have it on my skin, the more I like this fragnance (probably because flower tones are getting weaker and weaker).

I've already put this comment under the oil. But since I suspect that most of them are looking for the scent here, I put my comment here as well. I'm not interested in trophies or anything. I just want my experience to reach as many people as possible :) .While the fragrance is marketed with citrus notes, I must admit that I find it challenging to detect those citrusy elements. Instead, what dominates this scent is a gentle powdery quality that is both comforting and reminiscent of simpler times. Soft is the second Al-Rehab oil I've tried, after Dalal, and I'm thinking it will be my last; they're just not for me. Al- rehab really shines at making quality fragrance at an affordable price. I must stress that you get what you pay for. Keeping expectations reasonable to price is still a factor here.

The opening is bad!!! The first 5 to 10mins of this perfume is really bad like citrus dishwashing soap with X100 of your strongest rubbing alcohol scent. However, after that initial 2 to 5 minutes(depending on how many sprays) I started to get the actual nuances of the fragrance. I guess I need alcohol to make a scent feel like a perfume to me, because like Dalal this seems more like something used in baking than like a fragrance to me. It's strong and syrupy sugary sweet, which isn't that bad in and of itself - in fact, a lemon/caramel combination sounds like heaven to me if it's well done. But at least on my skin this interpretation smells so synthetic that it makes my nose burn a little. I have to say it smells just about as cheap as it is. This may be biased also because I am not entirely a fan of citrusy fragrances. I am still trying to accustom my nose to citruses and so I am still in the beginner levels. With that, if you are a fan of bright gourmand/sweet citruses, this should be along your alley. However, if you are a fan of gourmands but you prefer the dense rich and almost darker sweetness, you may want to test before you buy. A boozy, cough medicinish cupcake. Surprisingly some woody notes too. I can also smell grapes(!?) and liquorice in the first 30 mins or so.When I first smelled this piece, I was quite sorry, because I bought it without previous trying and it was not quite something I expected. I blind-bought this and Sand at the same time & I regretted the Sand. Too manly on me. This, though, it's lovely. I wish it projected a bit more but it's a calming scent & true to the name - Soft, very soft. When I first put it on, it really smelled like Yves Rocher cacao & orange hand cream/lip balm. I was delighted as I have been looking for that as a fragrance for ages but not found it. To the perfume: first feeling is caramel together with some citrus chords. Later it becomes more smoothy, "creamy" (if it can be said about this piece, well) and caramel becomes more and more beautiful. There are of course (expecially in the beginning) some flower tones, which probably makes that "enourmous feeling" on the beginning, when its mixed with caramel (and maybe a little bit chocolate - but in this time, cant help myself, but I feel white chocolate). And on my skin, after a few hours, there can be felt: soft and creamy caramel + a little bit of white chocolate + citruses.

I am comfortable in saying that most of fragrance tiktok is not there to sell the items to you unless they are directly associated to a brand sponsorship or storefront. That being said, fragrance tiktokers usually are as passionate about fragrance as fragrantica enthusiasts are -OR- want to sensationalize their findings for the purpose of generating content. Al Rehab is an easy subject to generate content for as the majority of followers will be able to experience this fragrance at such an affordable price point. With that knowledge, we still need to understand that this fragrance is not going to perform the same as designer and niche houses that ask for multiple times more in price.

I find this ridiculously good. I mean, absolutely DELICIOUS. It's a gourmond lover's deal of the century. The caramel is so on-point, it's just impressive, and the note list makes total sense. Usually I don't smell everything allegedly contained in fragrances, or I get ghost notes of something else entirely, but this is totally accurate IMO. UPDATE: It's now almost a year later. This was sitting forgotten in a drawer & when I tried it again... WOW. I have the oil rollerball and now I might need to get another. This is much more caramel & vanilla now with a breath of orchid. It even lasts longer. I put it on around 9 am and when I was passing someone in the hall around 3pm, they noticed & complimented me. The scent is totally different than when I first got it & I have a hard time describing it. It's like no other fragrance I know of. Al-Nourus from Al-Rehab with fragrance features peach, mango, melon, lime, white musk, white lily and iris flower for Women. I like this, but it's not a core collection contender and I won't be repurchasing. Not that I imagine I would have to for quite some time given how little you actually need to use to get the benefit.
