One thing I would like to know is how often the hub stops the boiler heating, which I've requested as a feature in the app, could be useful? In a nutshell, turning off the heating to a room does not affect the power output of radiators in adjoining rooms. However standard TRVs do not communicate with your boiler and they will not turn the boiler on and off. Smart TRVs show the temperature in degC making it much easier to set the room temperature and trust that it is accurate.

first have you checked that the small pin on the valve body is moving freely,you should be able push it down so that the flow stops when released it should pop up again and flow restarts?
