Jimmy is a truly beautiful person inside and out but I think he had to go through a lot of shit when he came out as transgender and I’m pretty sure that only increased his anxiety. You’d be surprised about how many of us are actually normal people that just love our boys and their music.

I must say that the ending felt a bit abrupt, considering the pace the book had up to that point, but it doesn’t influence much the vibe it gives the reader. Jimmy also has to figure out how to be his own person when he has a relentless touring schedule for his band and no free time to make “normal” friends or have “normal” experiences while living in London.Alice Oseman captured it so well and I loved that by inventing Juliet and Angel she also gave room to the fandom side that’s not just screaming and fainting fangirls/boys. She was such a kind and gentle soul and even though she had no idea what she wanted to do in life she was still a very strong character and able to stand up for herself. I had a wonderful time hanging out with the usual suspects, and having a catch-up with people I hadn’t seen for two years ♥️✨thanks for making it a good one!
