I must say, I think it kind of did as this was an enjoyable ride to sit through, but by all means, it isn’t perfect and can be a little bit goofy at times. Part of the reason why I like this manga is that Aileen, even when she regains some of her memories from her past life, she's still prideful. The show is fairly lighthearted, with the goal of demonstrating Aileen's perseverance and determination, while also highlighting her good-hearted nature and, in the process, exposing those who have evil intentions and dare to stand in her way. But so Demon King Claude is shocked when Aileen proposes to him in the beginning of the volume and kicks her out of his territory. I am very much in love with this trope and I think this was one of the most interesting story hooks I could find in this particular genre.Que ce soit l’histoire, l’univers ou encore les personnages, tout est vraiment réuni pour que l’on passe un excellent moment et c’est clairement réussi pour le coup!
