If you aren't going to use the wireless charging feature then probably best saving money and getting a regular powerbank. Although only Apple products currently have built-in MagSafe compatibility, some protective cases can add MagSafe capabilities to Android phones as well. I would like these “not included” words to point to a bundle in each country of an 18W charger to give more chance for noobs to get a charger if they don’t have one yet. If you’re going to be traveling with it, there’s no need to be carrying around multiple so you can use the same one as your laptop/iPad.

I’m hypothesising the Samsung phone is losing energy taking the higher voltage from PD stepping down it’s own 3. USB-A ports: We tested the maximum power draw from each port by plugging in an ammeter and a variable power load, and gradually increasing the power draw until the device overloaded and shut off. Charges my phone 0 to 100% to just over 2 times which is great considering the battery capacity on my phone is 4500mah.Well… for starters it missed the very obvious trick of standing the phone and battery up in such a way that wireless charging can happen at the same time.

It combines most of the features we prize in our other picks with the added versatility of our favorite multi-device wireless charging stands. The drawstring charging pouch is a nice touch, especially when it comes to transporting the power bank. And yeah the stand definitely in a feature that I liked in the idea phase but a little less practical in execution. To charge simultaneously at full speed, it’s recommended to use a charger with at least an 18W output. When charging three devices simultaneously, the available power is split between them, resulting in a combined maximum output of up to 18 W. Anker has a great community forum with regular reliable contributors who will lend a helping hand if you have any “real world” questions on products. The build quality is top notch and it also resembles the look of the Powerport Atom III which already has a great aesthetic on my desk.

Also the rattle could be something wrong with that powerbank or because of wireless charger (which wouldn’t make for a very valid reason tbh). Overall, the PowerCore III Wireless power bank is capable of decent, if not incredible, charging speeds. technology ensures optimized charging to virtually any mobile device including phones, tablets, and more. Im not sure if this is for my phone only but it holds the phone at a 90 degree angle which is really pointless in the sense that I can only see the screen if it is directly in front of me. It’s main use has been to drop my phone on while in a cafe or pub and when taking a break at work to add a quick 25 - 50% charge. It’s actually a great arrangement and enough to justify wireless charging- but it’s also come in really handy when I’ve misplaced a cable or just don’t want to deal with one, and just pop the case off my phone and charge anyway.
