And the jokes are surprisingly hit and miss. Hammer/Axe jealousy notwithstanding, most of the humour here is done in crude shotgun style, with Russell Crowe's Zeus getting in a great little skip-in-a-skirt, but otherwise pretty-much falling flat as Zeus, just one of a number of annoyingly pointless "Gods" introduced whose very depiction robs any impact from the mission of the primary antagonist, a valiantly portrayed but ultimately wasted effort from Christian Bale. (Not that we actually see him kill more than one, but if Gorr the God Butcher's victims are a bunch of idiots, what do we care if they're killed?). Thor: Love and Thunder 4K + 3D Blu-ray delivers stunning video and great audio in this excellent Blu-ray release stands as the clear winner for its overall image excellence.
