Nah, the center is not sharp. This is only 200% zoom and it's easy to see that all the white flowers are wider than they are tall, indicating sideways camera shake. Please see the sample images below. Editing was done in Capture One and I used Fujifilm film simulations for some of the photos, especially Classic Neg. and Acros.

VILTROX 23mm f1.4 XF Lens Auto Focus APS-C Compact Prime Lens

Don’t forget correction is automatically applied to Fuji lens, so things like vignetting are not noticed unless you go out of your way to see the actual raw file produced. There's just something about the output I get from the Fujinon 35 mm f1.4. that I find extremely pleasing. Heres two full size images to compare, both have had the exposure "equalized" using Auto exposure in light room. quite a bit in difference of rendering of colors. Issues: I got the lens profile setup in Lightroom but Viltrox says it only works with JPEGs which is pretty disappointing. I found a work around by editing the lens profile in notepad "CameraRawProfile" is set to false. I edited it to true and it works flawlessly in with RAW now. Image attached for people in the future.

This was taken using f5 and 160 ISO. The autofocus is fast enough that I caught this while we were both walking.

kính có chế độ cận cảnh cho phép người dùng có được những bức hình cận cảnh đẹp tuyệt đến từng chi tiết. Flange range difference between E-Mount and Z mount is just 1mm. This would aesthetically make not much difference. with the fuji film simulation of "monochrome + g filter", you can emulate those classic leica 90mm publicity portraits of the 1950s / 1960s Viltrox has filled the gap of autofocus fast primes with their reverse engineered 23mm, 56mm, and 85mm f/1.4 lenses.

Other optical traits include good contrast and color rendering. There is very slight barrel distortion but nothing that is an issue. There is also vignetting at wide open aperture, which is to be expected. Stopping down to just f2, reduces vignetting quite a bit. By f4 it’s practically non-existent. Nothing out of the ordinary here. As for flare, the Viltrox 23mm f1.4 XF lens has HD Nano multi-layer coating applied to individual elements to suppress flare and ghosting for greater contrast and color fidelity. It seems to work because none of this was an issue while I was using it. We tested the 23mm lens with a Nikon Z fc, on which it feels a particularly natural extension to the body. Considering the camera’s dedicated control dials for the likes of shutter speed, ISO and exposure compensation, the lens’s aperture ring and customizable focus ring are entirely in keeping with the hands-on approach. But rest assured, Sigma is constantly updating their lenses to improve the focus quality and accuracy. In fact, there was an update for this lens last Friday. Unfortunately, I do not have the chance to give it a try. LEFT: Fuji X-E4 . Sigma 30mmF1.4 @30mm . f/2 . 1/60″ . ISO 160 . Viltrox AF 23mm F1.4 Review - DustinAbbott.net

Actually thats something funny. Fuji 1.4 has better corner sharpness, nor somethign we can discuss about. A lot of us love large maximum aperture lenses but they are, often times, a lot more expensive. I feel the Viltrox 23mm f1.4 kind of levels the playing field a bit. This is a decent lens that offers a lot, and costs less than even Fuji’s own 23mm f2 version. That’s pretty cool in my book, and don’t forget, this lens also has autofocus as well. So, if you’re looking for a 35mm equivalent lens, and want a large maximum aperture without a heft price tag, the Viltrox 23mm f1.4 is a great option to consider.Fujifilm has recently opened their autofocus protocols, and we can expect more third party autofocus fast prime lenses soon. Until then, Viltrox has filled the gap of autofocus fast primes with their reverse engineered 23mm, 56mm, and 85mm f/1.4 lenses. In the first shot you got some side light from the sun that makes the texture pop. The second is flatter lighting. in full-frame equivalent) is a very popular focal length among all others. And then, Sigma comes with this 30mm, and this is an interesting focal length to compete with many 35mm lenses in the Fuji market. It also sits right between the 27mm and 33mm of what Fujifilm has offered. Ergonomically, a 35mm equivalent should be compact, easy to handle, and discreet because a focal length like this is so versatile in what it can shoot. People use a 35mm equivalent for a variety of types of photography ranging from street, environmental portraiture, landscape to even just candids of family and friends. In other words, this is a lens that one would take everywhere, and for some, it might even be the lens that’s mounted on their camera most of the time.

The AF Viltrox 23mm f/1.4 XF was released in August 2020 and in comparison, we had to wait till January 2021 before the Fujifilm counterpart, the XF 23mm f/1.4 R LM WR, saw the light of day. At its closest focus distance, the lens’s fast f/1.4 aperture gives quite a tight depth of field with nice bokeh One thing I would say is that the aperture ring is so close to the lens mount that I've never accidentally turned it, so it's not too much of a big deal.Heres two more. Its interesting that despite using the Lightroom Auto exposure the Fuji photos are coming out much darker. Image quality wise, the 23mm f1.4 XF is actually quite good. I was very happy with the results that I got when matched with my X-T3. It comes with an awesome metal lens hood that fits on the front with ease, it definitely oozes quality. ATTENTION with firmware updates! Please make sure you have selected the correct firmware for the correct device before installation. Otherwise it can happen that the device will no longer work.
