Data shows that Enstilar is a more effective topical combination treatment than those currently available, is generally well-tolerated, with more than half of patients in clinical trials experiencing significant visible signs of improvement within four weeks and with some patients seeing improvements at one week. All patients using non-biologic systemic therapy need close monitoring for adverse effects, as per local protocols [20,22,24]. Although our study showed an important relationship between circulating white blood cells and psoriasis in a large-scale population, there were some limitations. First, our cohort study and MR analysis were only based on a European population. Thus, the proven causal relationship may only apply to the European population, and further investigation is needed in other races. Second, white blood cells were divided into five main types in our study; however, these subtypes of white blood cells could be further subdivided. For example, lymphocytes can be further divided into B cells and T cells. Identification of key cell subpopulations in psoriasis may be challenging because of their complex cell composition. Third, we identified an association between circulating white blood cells and psoriasis; however, the specific mechanism of circulating white blood cells needs to be further explored. The symptoms of plaque psoriasis include raised, inflamed, red skin covered with silvery, white scales. On darker skin, the patches may be purplish with gray scales. These patches may itch and burn.
