Install instructions clear but no mention of whether switched live overrides humidistat or vice versa. Also the install is more difficult than it could be because cable entry is low down one side, when the chances are the cable comes from directly above as fan is high up wall. Plenty of space inside for cable without squashing though. Provided duct was just about long enough to work in my cavity wall. Extractor fans are designed to remove unwanted odours and excess moisture. This in turn reduces mould growth and keeps your bathroom fresh.

Works great I would recommend. Got this to replace my old extractor fan which had no humidistat. With this one I can leave on all the time and the fan will stop when the humidity level drops.
