With so many portable speakers getting an IPX rating of up to IPX 67, more and more outdoor enthusiasts are looking for portable Bluetooth speakers that are weatherproof and dustproof altogether. But, how waterproof is Aiwa Exos 9 Bluetooth speaker? Anyone who likes a thumping bass can be tempted to go for any other front-firing speakers, but what I personally love about the Woburn is how they deliver manages in reams of low-frequency response without muddying the entire mids. You will love the sound quality as It’s a clean, detailed, and dynamic, yet warm sound.

Aiwa bets comeback on big boombox-style Bluetooth speaker Aiwa bets comeback on big boombox-style Bluetooth speaker

Overall, this is a case where the entire product description, design and aesthetics make it look and feel like it was made to be portable, pretty much like the AIWA EXOS 8, but instead, it is very much a speaker you’ll mostly leave and use at home. Just like the Vifa Copenhagen 2.0, it is not intended to leave your room, although if you really want and try to, you will be able to take it on a little trip with you, if you’ll be able to bear the weight. AIWA is actually a pretty well established company with a large product offer, which includes headphones, like the ARC-1 Bluetooth headset that I reviewed before, and the pretty new EXOS 8 Party speaker, and the Prodigy Air TWS Earbuds. They are quite reliable and will provide proper warranty and support for you, although they are also sold a lot in stores that aren’t necessarily audio stores. Those stores should also offer a pretty excellent overall warranty and support, and you won’t have to rely on Aiwa alone, so if you see them being sold in your favorite electronics shop, you should totally go for their products, as they are quite reliable. I should also mention that after having had their ARC-1 Bluetooth headphones for almost a year now, I can confirm that they didn’t break so far. Anyone looking for exceptional sound quality and durability will find that Marshall Woburn wirelss Bluetooth speakers are worth every penny or cent invested in it. These speakers feature ease of wireless connectivity to any Bluetooth enabled device, enjoys a relatively long play time as it has a long bettery life and the speakers are embelished in a sleek designed housing with a classic stlye that can be imposing sometimes. On top of this sleek designed speaker, you will find an array of controls like the polished brass volume control knobs, bass trebbles and audio selection choices for your ease of use. Permanently visible in the middle of the Woburn wiressless speakers is the dominant brassy Marshall logo along with matching beading around the edges of a nicely stitched fabric speaker grille. Are Marshall speakers worth it? It should be noted that I have absolutely no affiliation with AIWA, I am not receiving any incentive for this review or to sweeten things out. I’d like to thank AIWA for providing the sample for this review. This review reflects my personal experience with AIWA EXOS 9. Every opinion expressed is mine and I stand by it, the purpose of this review is to help those interested in AIWA EXOS 9 find their next music companion.

With up to 100Dbs output, the Aiwa exos 9 Bluetooth speaker is one of the topmost rated loudest speakers for the garden, tailgating parties, and how loud this speaker is the one thing you will surely notice about it. To start, the Exos-9 is big, heavy and loud, which makes it perfect for kid’s basement parties and both indoor and outdoor get-togethers. Even though the Exos-9 can be used outdoors, it is neither waterproof nor water resistant. Aiwa does offer an optional carrying case which gives the speaker an IPX4 splash and dustproof rating.

Aiwa Exos-9 | Works Well At Home, Not When It’s Away Review: Aiwa Exos-9 | Works Well At Home, Not When It’s Away

The Woburn multi-room wireless speakers are both WiFi and Bluetooth 4.2 enabled type of speakers, that you can use straight out of the box as they are compatible with Chromecast, Apple AirPlay and Spotify Connect. These speakers are the biggest Marshall Bluetooth Speaker which if you look at the dimensions of 400 x 308 x200mm it should not come to you as a surprise that as bigger and heavier these speakers are, they tend to sound better than smaller and lighter ones which are made to fit into compact speaker housing.
