Rhysand Danaan sounds right as his last name . . . after all, Rhyand’s last name was never revealed . . . As I read more, I finally figured she was the Hind. There was the plot to dissuade us from the belief at the Autumnal Equinox by having Ruhn run into both the Harpy and the Hind. But I knew it was the Hind, She drowned Sophie instead of torturing or killing her and she also has said nothing about finding them in the water. Azriel discovers her and takes Bryce to the apartment they often use for their own “coffee table pow wows” and everyone else shows up.

The bulk of the book is spent searching for a small boy believed to have a very rare magical talent that the Asteri thought they completely wiped out. This is similar to how they spent the majority of the time hunting for Danika’s killer and Luna’s Horn in House of Earth and Blood. Tharion and Ithan talk and figure out that Danika was researching something dangerous. They just don’t know what. And they are not out of danger yet. Dragged into a rebel movement they want no part of, Bryce, Hunt and their friends find themselves pitted against the terrifying Asteri – whose notice they must avoid at all costs. But as they learn more about the rebel cause, they face a choice: stay silent while others are oppressed, or fight. And they've never been very good at staying silent. The whole scene with Rigelus telling Bryce about the multiverse and everything about it. There was a lot of info dump and I had to keep up when I just wanted to figure out what was happening. The withes aren’t as powerful as they once were. Their mighty bloodlines have been weakening, their magic too. Her coven

These guys are the bad guys over a lot of worlds apparently. This literally felt like Eternals. If you have watched Eternals you’d understand better. I always struggle to gather my thoughts after surviving another Sarah J. Maas novel. House of Sky and Breath, like its predecessor House of Earth and Blood, has me a little conflicted, to be totally honest. I’ll explain why in a moment. Before we continue, I must warn you that everything hereafter is a spoiler. If you have not read House of Sky and Breath, read at your own risk.the Bodegraven move towards them. Sofie’s brother has the same power as her and it is stronger than hers (Energy is theirs to command). He uses it to take out all the warships.

Amren also understood Bryce at the end of A House Of Sky and Breath when she spoke the ancient language of the Fae, of the Starborn.

I’m looking forward to his story in Book 3 since he’s been captured with Hunt, and Bryce says that Rhysand looks exactly like Ruhn, so Fae must be Prythian originally, or there’s a blood relation. Also, we do not know Rhysand’s surname so we might just get his last name in these books. Agent Daybright and Night he wants to be one of her fighters. Says he will sell himself to her, would rather be a slave to her than be forced to stay Beneath and be used to

I’ve just finished the second book having re-read all of TOG and ACOTAR and I only have a few theories/queries:The Hind, Harpy, Pollux, and Mordoc are all hated characters for their absolute brutalness in this book. The twists we get from two of these characters is fantastic though. Some people were saying that the Autumn King in CC might be Lucien . . . I personally highly doubt it, but it’s still possible. Ruhn’s storyline wasn’t exactly what I looked forward to in Book 2, but I looked forward to Ruhn and Agent Daybright’s scenes.
