I sure hope the original won't be too different, as the Gold collection is very difficult to find, and very expensive. The longevity is good - lasts a good six hours on my skin, before it completely fades; sillage maybe not as strong as it used to be, but I'm fine with it. I feel so womanly, successful and powerful when I wear a sensuous veil of this heavenly liquid from the gods. It is sweet and thick and feels dated, though I do have a few vintage scents in my collection that I love, this one is an absolute no for me. I was looking forward to this fragrance based off other people's descriptions but this is a hard pass for me.

The brightness of Iris, carnation and lime, fade away, leaving only the warm creaminess of gardenia, tuberose and jasmine, swirling with musk and vanilla and only hints of woods. absolutely a cold weather fragrance and to be sprayed once and walked into, not directly on skin or you will find yourself w a headache and others around you will become nauseous. I'm gonna cry if it's not 😂 I'll probably still love this one by the sounds of it, even if it's not the one I'm looking for, but it'll mean I've hit a brick wall with no other clues except it could have been the Indecence flanker but from memory it was in a cream box with red trim. Launched in 1996, this floral, oriental, woody fragrance combines the freshness of sap, honeysuckle and rosewood with the voluptuousness of gardenias, poppies and tuberoses and the intensity and timelessness of amber and nutmeg.When I first spray it I get this strong sweet bubblegum tuberose smell with woody undertones, reminds me of an ylang ylang in Guerlain L'instant perfume. I get tons of delicious nutmeg mixed with vanilla (nutmeg is always amazing when paired with something creamy, either sweet or savory), and it's harmony with the nuttiness from the walnut and wood is brilliant.

It opens up a bit sharp and powdery but as the day progresses it becomes more and more woody and soft. I do see how some people smell a root beer like quality to this, might be only the vintage formulas. I had the same problem with Perris Monte Carlo Jasmine de Pays, it smelt horrendous on me, my skin chemistry can sometimes turn Jasmine so rotten on me. Organza lasted well during the whole day and late nights, it filled the room with its powerful presence.Vintage Organza (the woman's silhouette is frosted glass and the juice is darker) is a beautiful, non-offensive, gardenia-jasmine-vanilla. One of my mum's favorites, I still remembered this weird-looking bottle on her vanity from the 90s, but had no recollection of the smell, so I had to try it. I wish the longevity were bit better at four hours but this is a rare case where im going to say I just dont care. I think it's more suited towards evening wear, and to my nose the woody nutmeg spiciness makes it best for cold weather, but to me it's too delightful to limit when I wear it honestly, it's great for any time.

s Givenchy was on fire and they blessed the world with a couple of masterpieces, Organza and Insensé, and a dozen of other respectable releases such as Xeryus Rouge, Amarige and Pi. I am just wearing jeans and sweater but I feel so put together and classy in this gorgeous fragrance.

All in all, a rich, smooth, sensuous fragrance, one of the few by Givenchy worth giving any time to. Another time I smelled it on a group of girls going out drinking, from WAY down the street, and was gonna chase them to ask what it was but felt too shy.

I really really wanted to like this one, since I am an ,,classic" lover and Organza is such a must have.So glad I sampled this, as I almost blind bought it😬 Sharp white florals, sort of medicinal, boring and I dare say, dated.
