Amaya's stand out style with dramatic textures and edgy details are a perfect fit for Rainbow High. She's a fashion designer, who made a big name for herself in her small town, because she wasn't afraid to stand out. Amaya creates showstopping looks with vibrant colors and glam details and she dreams of setting major fashion trends. Amaya is as bold and daring as her fashion designs, because she’ll have to turn her color up and embrace her rainbow to make her mark in a school full of so much amazing talent.

Bella's runway show design made by Skyler in “ Amaya's Discovery” is inspired by Ariana Grande wearing Giambattista Valli at the 2020 Grammys. Violet has had falling outs with her friends (although she makes up with them later) while Karma doesn’t seem to have any quarrels with her Best Friend Stella so far. They both seem to hate Amaya, being best shown during Amaya's audition for their play. River dating Amaya is probably is what fueled this distaste. During this they accuse Amaya of being jealous of Georgia, claiming she doesn't want River to kiss her. Laurel later accuses Amaya of sabotaging the play.

Karma's outfit has the sequins appearing on the tulle gong rather than the top, unlike in the collection, which had the reverse, and Karma's is colored neon green.

Nice Girl: Despite the varied attitudes the runaway group gave to her upon arrival, Amaya remains kind-hearted and successfully makes better relations with them in "Amaya's Discovery". Nightmare Fetishist: Downplayed because this is a kid's show, but she's into kookier things than the others. As seen in the following “Vi-Life”, Violet doesn’t want her friends to be devastated by disrespectful boyfriends again, learning from the Colin incident in “Double Date Disaster” and “Gurlfriend Take Over”. Lou Wright Rainbow High is an elite Fine Arts high school and is the main location of the animated series. While she was initially unsure of Amaya due to her being Bella's replacement, Poppy grew to appreciate Amaya as part of her runway group, however they do not interact one on one much.Like with Daria and Stella, she is one of Bella's new roommates.
