Description

The scarcity of female founders is often highlighted as a reason for the gender gap in VC funding, but our experience tells a different truth. I can literally stop and start this without feeling like I do with regular books/info, which involve me feeling like I need to read a whole chapter to feel accomplished. This was a helpful and insightful book, as a young woman working in financial services I am passionate about bringing more people (and particularly young women) along the journey in taking control of their finances. Particularly the latter of those aforementioned, as women are far less likely than men to ask for one.

Whether you want to master the art of setting realistic goals, demystify jargon and markets, gain independence, or finally get excited about your financial future, find all the answers you need and more with this comprehensive guide. Before we all run off for the Christmas holidays, let’s get together to chat about your financial journey this year, share our learnings, and help each other set some goals for 2024.

I get that it's a "feminist guide to investing" but I just feel like these chapters didn't give me anything and they should have rather used to paper to do a deep dive into any of the topics. Saira and Megan wrap up Season 2 with one last episode diving into what they've learned and some key personal takeaways.Aside from being a visually pretty book, lots of colours used throughout, what I enjoyed the most was that it covers everything. After the bestselling success of Girls Just Wanna Have Funds, the founders of Female Invest are back, and this time they're focusing on impact investing. I started following these authors’ platform a little over a year ago to get perspective on what international educators were teaching on finance and investing. Numerous underlying issues persist, and only by shedding light on them can we hope to create a world where founders are judged on merit, not on gender.

Ditching the jargon shrouding finance, this audiobook will assess the pros and cons behind crowdfunding and crowdlending, navigate around the many pitfalls of greenwashing, and make building a more sustainable portfolio – that prioritises the issues you really care about – accessible to everyone. Why mention ESG at all if you’ll end up simply promoting greenwashing due to the surface level explanation? Through their subscription business, which has members in 82 countries, they educate women on personal finance and investing with a mission to close the financial gender gap. Yesterday, our new book 'Girls Just Wanna Have Funds' got released and we're absolutely blown away by how well it's been received.Danmark har fået en ny ligestillingsminister, og Finans har været behjælpelige med at understrege, hvorfor der stadigvæk er hårdt brug for sådan en. sirvisin pealkirjad läbi, lugeda ei viitsinud, sest midagi uut siin ei olnud ja midagi eriti feministlikku ka mitte (peale ehk sissejuhatuse, kus räägiti palga- ja ja varanduselõhedest ja õhutati naisi oma rahalist saatust enda kätesse võtma).

Our community has grown beyond our wildest dreams, and we're so proud of the impact we've reached together. Start your journey to financial success with Female Invest's bootcamp for safe, smart and sustainable investing. They often come as blank canvases and have not picked up bad habits trying to learn to invest themselves. Perhaps this is a personal pet peeve of mine, but the reading voice kept pronouncing "has" instead of "as", which really bugged me at times.Saira and Megan interview Claire on her journey to building Ladies Get Paid, a global community that champions the professional and financial advancement of women. Money is an important topic, especially for women and feminists, so the discussion/activity prompts at the end of the chapters were also a nice, refreshing touch. In a world where no country has reached financial gender equality, and it will take over 258 years for the financial gender gap to close, are we doing ourselves a disservice by developing a narrative that fuels negative financial stereotypes around women? A great read for mid-teens, too - gives valuable information about finances and would help to set their mindset about money.
