I experimented with using it in a sponge and it came out as normal except a bit paler than with “real sugar”. It’s not cheap but hopefully in time will cost less due to economies of scale. I saw this on dragons den and decided to give a try. Well worth it and will no longer be using normal sugar. Taste is fine, not so sweet for equivalent amount which is probably preferable but you can add more to get same sweetness levels or ween yourself off! I have used in a cake and everyone said how good it was. Also bought the honey and maple syrup substitute but not used yet. Ok price is higher but well worth paying the extra for a healthy alternative and no calories! I am on a sugar free diet and the benefit of a 100% natural product makes it reassuring too. Worth the extra cost but would be good to have it in a cardboard box so recommend decanting it.It really is like sugar and I really like it. I don't use sugar often but definitely use this instead ,no nasty after taste my only little niggle is that you have to use more than you would normal sugar so could be pricey if you use a lot but small price to pay for something not chemical Since then we have created many other products to our lineup that fall into our ethos of removing sugar from your diet with no compromise to taste or health. Prices compared to other supplies and supermarkets are slightly lower and I can get everything I need in one delivery. Brilliant.
