Description

This is the first special model of new Nintendo 2DS XL and is another Pikachu themed console. This console features Pikachu on the top half with a yellow design and brown matching Pikachu's markings on the buttons.. Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, which re-implemented the walking Pokémon mechanic that was introduced in Yellow, were released in Japan exactly 11 years after Yellow was released in Japan.

The Game Boy Color was a new iteration of the Nintendo Game Boy. Although similar in form factor and design to the original Game Boy, this model allowed for games to be released with 8-bit colour, as opposed to the monochromatic style of its predecessor. All previous Game Boy games were playable on it and many Game Boy Color games were playable on the original device, but some started being exclusive. Its first introduction to Pokémon was with Pokémon Gold & Silver, although the international releases of Pokémon Yellow adapted the Super Game Boy palette to act as a Game Boy Color title. In The Power of Us, Ash catches an Ekans for the Pokémon Catch Race. However, Ash had to release it as per the race’s rules. This special Nintendo 64 only came out in Australia. It is a standard blue Nintendo 64 with various prints of Pokémon all upon the case of the console. It came bundled with the game, Pokémon Stadium and was known as the Pokémon Stadium Battle SetYellow Special Pikachu Edition has the longest name of all core series titles, including symbols and spaces, with 30. In the anime, Ash catches a Caterpie and a Pidgeotto in Viridian Forest. In the game, though both Caterpie and Weedle were available in previous games, only Caterpie is now. Pidgey and Pidgeotto are also both added to Viridian Forest. These are games made for the Game Boy Color. Non-Japanese Pokémon Yellow has Game Boy Color features, but is officially classified by Nintendo as an original Game Boy game. For comparison, the earlier Generation I games and Japanese Pokémon Yellow had in-game color palettes compatible with the Super Nintendo's Super Game Boy instead, which uses lighter colors. The international releases of Pokémon Yellow have separate color data for both the Super Game Boy and the Game Boy Color. All policemen were recast as Officer Jennys and all Pokémon Center Nurses were recast as Nurse Joys (attended by a Chansey).

This special GameBoy Advance was released in the Pokémon Centers in Japan to tie in with the Japanese release of the game, Pokémon Crystal. It features a special blue colour and silhouettes of Pikachu & Pichu next to the GameBoy Advance logo This special GameBoy Advance SP was released in Pokémon Centers across Japan to tie in with the release of Pokémon Emerald. It's a green GBA SP with a Rayquaza print on both the inside and the outside of the console. (20kg) only)Torchic Edition - An orange GBA SP released in the Pokémon Center in New York only. It depicts a faint silhouette of Torchic on the front.

Prior to the Virtual Console release announcement, Pokémon.com listed Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow with a PEGI rating of 3. [25]Pikachu and Raichu are removed from all availability in the wild, leaving only the player's starter Pikachu (who cannot evolve). The game was available on the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console between the Pokémon 20th Anniversary on February 27, 2016 and the discontinuation of the 3DS Nintendo eShop on March 27, 2023.
