Baking chips - I use a combination of butterscotch chips and semi-sweet chocolate chips for the topping. Feel free to use your favorite baking chips, like peanut butter chips, white chocolate chips, or milk chocolate chips. Serve: These Pretzel Peanut Butter Bars can be quite rich, so consider cutting them into smaller squares for serving. I love Trader Joe’s Peanut Butter Filled Pretzels. Every time I open the bag they disappear. I decided it was time we created our own Peanut Butter Filled Pretzel Bites. We used our pretzel bite recipe and stuffed them with peanut butter. Oh, and we didn’t stop there. We also dipped them in chocolate. These pretzel bites are salty, sweet, and so much fun!

To Store: Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days or at room temperature for 5 days. Using a large 2 ounce cookie scoop, scoop rounds of dough onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Chill dough for two hours or overnight. Spatula or wooden spoon: These will be useful for both mixing ingredients and spreading the mixtures into the baking pan. Unsalted butter: Butter helps to bind the pretzel crust and adds a rich flavor. Use unsalted butter to control the salt content in your bars (especially since pretzels are pretty salty). Feel free to use your favorite brands of peanut butter, chocolate, peanut butter chips, and butterscotch chips.

Drop 1 mini pretzel at a time into peanut butter mixture. Turn to coat. You can dip using a fork, but I prefer using a chocolate dipping fork. Makes it even easier! Tap fork on the side of the bowl to help excess drip off. Transfer coated pretzel to parchment lined pan. TEXTURE: The interplay of crunchy pretzels, chewy coconut, and smooth peanut butter is a texture symphony in each bite. Line 2 half sheet size cookie sheets with parchment paper (we won’t be baking these!), and lay 100 pretzels over them.

I love making these delicious pretzel bites, they’re stuffed with sweetened peanut butter and dipped in dark chocolate. I also like to finish them off with a sprinkle of sea salt, but if you want to add some color, go for colorful sprinkles instead!
