I’ve spent the last month or so playing around with the Astro C40, and while it’s not a perfect device, it’s clear Astro’s trademark attention to detail could benefit all sorts of premium peripherals. I found the use of the controller in its wireless form to be the most preferred, and never once had any kind of signal interference from various distances. The controller offers unparalleled customisability and is one of the best built pads I’ve tested, even in the top end peripherals market. You will need to plug the cigarette plug into a centre-positive power supply capable of supplying between 10-15V, ideally 12-13. From the moment to plugging it in, and letting Windows detect the drivers, install them to it being usable is really fast; on PS4 it is even faster.
