For older Logitech wheels such as the G25, G29, and Driving Force GT, it is recommended to use the following settings after installing Logitech Gaming Software: NOTE: When connecting a G29 racing wheel to your computer, make sure that the Platform Mode switch is set to PS4. For more information, see Set the G29 racing wheel for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 or PC platforms.

Although Logitech does not make a handbrake for their racing wheels, you can use any of the three USB handbrakes, Fanatec ClubSport, Thrustmaster TSS or Aiologs handbrake with the DriveHub to make them work with Logitech G29 on PS4. All three handbrakes, Fanatec ClubSport, Thrustmaster TSS and Aiologs handbrake work perfectly with Logitech racing wheels on PC when connected via USB. You can use pretty much any USB handbrake with Logitech wheels on PC. Handbrake for Thrustmaster Racing Wheels on PC For more information on importing LGS preset profiles, see Import racing wheel profiles using Logitech Gaming Software. Any time a device is connected to a different USB port, it will require calibration in iRacing, even if it was already calibrated on a previous USB port. For this reason it is not recommended to place controllers on USB hubs or to switch them from port to port. Controls can be calibrated at any time by selecting the control you would like to calibrate in the Options->Drive Menu:

Here’s a list of the best USB analog handbrakes that we think are best to compliment your sim racing setup: Fanatec ClubSport Handbrake V1.5 For oval racers starting out, I highly recommend this wheel. It has everything you need, including all the controls for adjustments when in the virtual driver's seat. Asphalt road: 8.5/10 Select Configure Controls at the top of the screen and follow the on-screen prompts to calibrate your controls Drag and drop an existing command from the Commands list on the left of the LGS window onto a button. When you drag a command over a button, the button will become highlighted. Thrustmaster TSS Handbrake Sparco Mod+ is fully compatible with Thrustmaster TX and TS-XW racing wheels on Xbox One. Alternatively, you can use the Fanatec or Aiologs handbrake with the help of DriveHub accesorry on Xbox One. The latter is a much cheaper and better option in my opinion. In addition to the control calibration and customization options provided by iRacing, most wheels also have their own settings included in their provided software that can help the user fine-tune the feel of their steering. If you are struggling to feel smaller forces from bumps and curbs, the Min Force setting can be increased to increase the feeling of smaller forces without affecting the steering weight or larger forces. This is often needed for gear and belt driven wheels such as most Thrustmaster and Logitech wheels as well as all Fanatec CSL wheels. To prevent injury, DO NOTset the Wheel force to a value lower than the manufactuer's specifications.

For the Trustmaster wheels that do not support a handbrake natively, you can get the DriveHub to make any USB handbrake of the three, Fanatec ClubSport, Thrustmaster TSS or Aiologs handbrake work on PS4. Handbrake for Fanatec Racing Wheels on PS4 To find the right handbrake for your racing rig on PC, PS4 or Xbox One, there are a lot of compatibility guides you need to go through. The handbrake should be compatible with 1. Your racing wheel, 2. Your platform (PC/PS4/Xbox) and 3. The game you wish to play. Further, you will need to figure out the handbrake add-on connection, to connect it to the wheelbase/pedals or directly via USB. In some cases, a USB adapter is also needed to make things work. No additional setup is required to run multiple controllers, such as a dedicated pedal, shifter, or handbrake controller. As long as the controller is functional by itself, it can be calibrated and assigned without any additional steps. If you find that your virtual wheel is out of sync with your physical wheel at higher steering angles, turn the wheel 360 degrees to either direction so that it has completed a full rotation, then adjust the map range until the virtual wheel is pointing straight ahead. NOTE: You can also remove all assignments by dragging the current command from the button to the trash icon (located at the bottom-right corner of the Commands list).
