I have only driven through Louisiana at most, that I remember. I'm an absolute East Coaster from New Jersey and spent most of my life on the same coast. I did develop a love of reading at a young age from my grandmother's Harlequin collection. The rest? I WAS WORRIED this was going to be wayyy too cliche but it surprised me with some of the unique situations this couple was put into 😂 Ovearll, while there were some cliche parts, I thought the romance still stood out from other fake-dating books I've read Let me just finish this review off by saying that I actually hadn’t expected to get emotional at all during this book. But the ending did things to me, I just absolutely loved these characters together. I could just feel their happiness flowing through me at that ending, and then I shred a few tears. Which was probably the last thing I expected. Also this book is a little like the movie “Pretty Woman” just more romcom like, which is amazing to me because I loved Vivian and Edward in Pretty woman, it’s one of my all time favorite movies, and I would really recommend this movie if you loved this book. just got fired from her job, by her “best friend” Angela. Lottie and Angela has always had a toxic friendship, but Lottie has finally reached her limit with Angela. Problem is just that nobody besides Lottie’s sister Kelsey can know that she got fired. Lottie is desperate to find a new job, move out of her parents house, and pay all her debts. Therefore Lotta decides to go for a run on a rich neighborhood as a joke, but then she runs into Huxley. Overall, it was a fun exercise, but it showed me that AI is still a tool to enhance what we do, not replace it. Working to brainstorm, research, or play with ideas can be helpful to authors. My recommendation is for us to approach it like marketers.

My one big gripe was the whole fake pregnancy thing as so many struggle, so I don't think that's something that should be faked. Your helping heart. You don’t let people see it; you hide it away from the public eye. But as a spectator, having paid close enough attention, I’ve seen it, and it’s beautiful.” Lottie is on the hunt for a rich husband. Huxley is on the hunt for a pregnant fiance. They collide on the sidewalk, head to Chipolte and formulate a fully contracted plan to help each other out. My not so meet cute was... unexpected. I was casually searching Beverly Hills for someone to make me their bride. My one big mistake, though . . . big . . . HUGE? I accidentally fell for the incomparable Huxley Cane. Let me just appreciate some sweet and romantic moments too. These two have exactly the kind of relationship I want. Someone you can be completely comfortable and yourself around. But also someone who respects you and take interest in your interests, and remembers those interests! lottie and huxley knew each other for A FEW WEEKS. and they got ENGAGED. hard pass. that sort of rush just makes me more concerned that they’re going to break up.

I'm not a proponent of using it to create all content. AI is still not a human, with thoughts, emotions, experiences, and creativity to spark it all. H (Hero) rating: 3.5 stars. Huxley. I mostly liked him. I appreciated his grovel, but his hot and cold at the beginning got a little old. Do you think I should?” I ask. “Because you sure as hell didn’t make it easy on me last night when you were accusing me of telling Ellie the truth.” “I know, but—” “And do you think it was easy on me, seeing the absolute disdain you had for me?” “No, but—” “And do you think it was easy on me, knowing the man that I trusted, that I was falling for, didn’t trust me to keep him safe with our secret?”LOTTIE WAS ENTERTAINING but her characterization was a bit confusing. She was a self-characterized "doormat", but I actually found her to be incredibly confrontational, especially when it came to Huxley. So it was harder to understand her. LeTeisha Newton is primarily known for her content creation in the form of romance novels and short stories. She has written and published over 50 books, showcasing her skill and dedication as an author. Need a place to stay? I have a seven-bedroom home. Need a date for your reunion? I’m your man. Need me to make a phone call to this ex-boss of yours, let her know she made a huge mistake by letting you go? I’m there for you. Want a job? I can find you one.” LeTeisha Newton is a contemporary romance author who has written over 50 novels and short stories. She has been writing professionally since 2010 and is known for her steamy and emotional romance stories that often feature strong, independent heroines and alpha male heroes. It started to drag and then it just kept on dragging. ( Apart from some funny scenes here and there the plot just wasn’t very interesting past the 20/30% mark)

But next thing I knew, I was scarfing down free chips and guac, listening to this man lay out all of his problems which led to his big ask . . . he wanted me to be his Vivian Ward, you know, from Pretty Woman--minus the frisky behavior. I always, ALWAYS look forward to new Quinn books and fell in love with this one. It’s the start of what I sincerely hope will be a new series and I loved the vibe. It has loads of humor and great family connections, as well as the sexual tension that Quinn has ramped up with some of her most recent releases. And Lottie could sometimes give off ‘manic pixie dream girl’ vibes but in a kind of cringey way I personally thought. But other than that I did quite like them. Lottie meets Huxley while he’s wandering around a rich neighborhood (looking for a rich husband, how to do it), and she’s desperate too. The two discover that maybe they can help each other, and that’s the basis for their not-so-sweet encounter. But as the two spend time together, their arguments intensify and there seems to be a fine line between love and hate.Review: Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family by Omid Scobie & Carolyn Durand Ignoring Lottie entirely, she asks, “Huxley Cane, is that you?” Am I supposed to know her? Because she’s making it seem as if we know each other. I shift in my seat, moving closer to Lottie as my arm slips up to her shoulder rather than resting on her chair. “I’m sorry, have we met?” I ask. Lottie leans in toward me. Her body language is screaming for help. I reassure her with a stroke of my hand over her shoulder. Angela waves her hand and says, “You’re too funny. We met at the Stardom Gala last year. I was the gorgeous goddess in the purple floor-length dress.” She tosses her hair over her shoulder. “Huh,” I say, tilting my head. “Can’t quite place you.” on a more serious note, THE FETISHIZATION OF SMALL AND FEISTY WOMEN. men finding women endearing because they find their very real and very valid anger “nonthreatening” is actually so disgusting. was this a big issue in this book? no, but there were several comments made in the beginning that warranted a discussion about it. you can have power imbalances without invalidating women’s emotions. it’s not hot, it’s misogyny. When we humans are gone from this earth, it will still be here. Climate change is a natural process. I really wish people would have paid attention in science class!

But next thing I knew, I was scarfing down free chips and guac, listening to this man lay out all of his problems which led to his big ask . . . he wanted me to be his Vivian Ward, you know, from Pretty Woman–minus the frisky behavior. It's really the point of this exercise with ChatGPT. I don't want it to appear that I'm not a fan of it because, as I said at the start, I can see its usefulness in many ways. There is still just a human element that's needed to keep it honest and working right.i actually enjoyed the characters! the characters were surprisingly multifaceted and (gasp!) i didn’t really get annoyed by them, which is rarer in contemporary romance than i would like. I don’t believe “Climate Change” is the biggest issue we have in our lives today, and am very upset with books I read pushing the topic.
