On the old forum I did a review of the TR Robb pellet sizer, complete with results shooting sized and unsized pellets. In summary, what I found was the sizer improved the performance of some pellets which were not particularly good performers when unsized. It made no discernable difference to batches which performed well unsized. The star shape also reduces turbulence around the nose of the pellet for better accuracy. These pellets are never going to be match target winners but when it comes to pest controlling these pellets are absolutely devastating at close to medium range, even at 12ft/lbs. I have a Gempro 250 which I weighed these head sorted pellet with. My weights ranged from 13.2 grs to 13.6 grs with the majority being 13.4 grs giving a .2 grain plus or minus tolerence which again I thought was pretty tight?
