Writing this review makes me want to put on some blush today. Hold on a sec * applies blush* okay, ready! I’m wearing the shade PETAL here These blushes truly are SO gorgeous and I really wanted to capture that touch of shimmer in these drugstore blushes that gives you the most beautiful blush/highlighter finish. I love that depending on what type of makeup brush you apply it with, you can get a completely different looking finish. It gives your skin the most beautiful peachy glow and many users claim it’s a total dupe for the more expensive NARS Orgasm blush. I’m wearing it in the photo below, and as you can see it’s the perfect peach blush with a beautiful glow. Shop it Here

This popular powder blush is a pretty, pale pink shade that looks really natural on fair and light skin, but the formula is dry and powdery which makes it look a bit cakey on the cheeks. What to Look for in a Pink Blush Formula Dolce Pink, Luminoso, Corallina, Red Vino, Rosa Romantica Ingredients: Mica, Talc, Dimethicone, Isopropyl Palmitate, Polysorbate 20, Acrylamide/Sodium Acryloyldimethyltaurate Copolymer, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Octyldodecyl Stearoyl Stearate, Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate, Caprylyl Glycol, Isohexadecane, Sorbitan Stearate, Lauroyl Lysine, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Polysorbate 80, Hexylene Glycol, Tin Oxide, Nylon-12, Sorbitan Oleate, Calcium Sodium Borosilicate, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Calcium Aluminum Borosilicate, Silica For a while, I found powder blushes to be boring—a flat, matte wash of color on the cheeks wasn’t adding any excitement to my makeup routine. But then I discovered this blush formula last year and I fell madly in love with it, and ultimately rediscovered my appreciation for a good powder blush. It features the best parts of a powder and a cream—it’s easy to apply just like a powder, and it provides a glow to the skin just like a cream. In the pan, the baked formula appears incredibly shimmery, but once you apply it on the skin, it looks radiant and incredibly flattering. It’s quite pigmented, making it versatile among a wide range of skin tones, and I love that this particular rosy shade has a nice balance of warm and cool undertones which makes it pair well with any makeup look. I like to swirl it around the pan first, tap off excess, and dust on the cheeks to ensure I’m getting a nice mix of the matte and shimmer finish. In-store selection can often be limited to only a few shades and I’ve found drugstores tend to be higher priced vs. purchasing online. How Does Milani Baked Blushes Perform?

Fully blend in your blush to ensure you’ve reached the desired level of color/pigmentation. I recommend applying your blush in layers, and if you really want a more pigmented color you can lightly dampen your brush. The Milani Baked Blushes have been popular for years now among makeup artists, beauty bloggers, and beauty youtubers, and with just one swipe of this beautiful drugstore blush on your cheeks, you’ll instantly see why. As for the shade, I love that it's a cool-toned hot pink with just enough warmth in it to be really flattering on tons of different complexions. It's a fun pop of color that's surprisingly wearable for everyday looks. It's also quite pigmented, making it a great choice for people with a wide range of skin tones and depths, but if you have fair skin, be cautioned that just one tap of your brush into the pan will yield some seriously flushed cheeks. If you've been looking for a bold pink powder blush, I don't believe there's a better option on the market than this one. May Contain: Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Red 7 (CI 15850), Red 6 (CI 15850), Ultramarines (CI 77007) Milani blushes have the most stunning color pigmentation, are long-lasting, and have a touch of shimmer that creates the most beautiful blush/highlighter combo. These richly pigmented, highly buildable blushes feature satin and shimmery shades. Yes, these blushes really are baked — each one has been sunbaked on Italian terracotta tiles to give your skin a warm finish and a radiance that looks striking and natural.
