Three days of beard growth can be troublesome even for advanced razors and the R95 is definitely not one. I wouldn’t consider it a viable option for traveling if I was away for more than a couple of days. If that’s the case then I highly recommend sacrificing a bit more luggage space and bringing along a proper shaver. Braun has also included a rubber seal on the battery compartment to keep water out when you rinse the shaving head. A nice touch. Remember that the shaver runs on double-A batteries, so removing them when not in use is essential to avoid unnecessarily draining the batteries. Additionally, if you plan on using the shaver often and cleaning it with running water, applying some machine oil to the foil once a week or every two weeks to keep it in good shape is recommended.
