Not sure this is real… Why is the ESRB only in English and French when the rest of the box also includes Spanish translations? Not that that’s never happened before, and it may just be wishful thinking, but I’m a little suspicious of this thing’s authenticity. I'm very excited for the movie, but any new mainline games on the way in the near future sure would be nice. Though I do think Mario Kart is an odd choice when it could've easily been Mario 3D World. Don't they sell enough MK as it is? The new console ties in with Nintendo’s ongoing Super Mario Bros. 35th anniversary celebrations, which have seen the company release Super Mario 3D All-Stars. That collection includes Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy, but it's only available until March 31st.

I love that they give you a choice. That was one of my favorite things about the wiiu give away days. Nintendo Life’s resident horror fanatic, when he’s not knee-deep in Resident Evil and Silent Hill lore, Ollie likes to dive into a good horror book while nursing a lovely cup of tea. He also enjoys long walks and listens to everything from Motorhead to BB King. I own all three of those games and a limited-edition V2 Switch already, I'm also pretty sure I can get the "Mario Red" Joy-Cons used. I'd much rather get a Scarlet/Violet or Splatoon 3 OLED model if I'm buying a new Switch. Geez... I get that something's better than nothing but seeing "Choose One" in big bold letters for games that could've all been bundled for free for this extremely short period of time just feels stingy. Browse our collection of Nintendo Switch consoles that have revolutionised the world of gaming. Choose from having the flexibility to switch between handheld play, tabletop and TV with the incredibly versatile Nintendo Switch. Or discover dedicated handheld play with the lightweight Switch Lite. If you like to switch things up and play at home or when you're out and about, the Nintendo Switch is the console for you, whereas the Nintendo Switch Lite is dedicated to handheld play for those who enjoy gaming on the go.I understand their strategy of utilising existing hardware and existing software - including the porting of older games - and that all makes absolute sense given the Wii U's sales performance and efficiently driving middle/end of lifecycle for Switch. Plenty of people haven't played Mario Bros U and Odyssey - all makes sense to use them here. Though DK could do with a new platform outing as well. We not had one NEW DK game on the Switch platform wise.

Y’all thought there would be a new movie tie in game? Sorry lads, we will get ‘em next time. But one of three Mario games is a good deal. For those who don’t have it, choose Mario kart! That game is great fun! Choose ONE Mario game!!?? A bundle like this should be the OLED with all three games. How is this a good deal!? I wasn’t looking to be whelmed I just want to know wtf they were thinking not having this be the OLED model. Nintendo is the king of “but.” I just don’t get it Nintendo. I’m convinced their sales and marketing teams are screwing them over. I agree. If they had made the console red and then maybe blue joycons or something they would have had huge response, especially even from current Switch owners. Oh well.LavaTwilight : I guess Nintendo thinks that it's a no-brainer. Plus, there's the fact that MK8D supports wireless local multiplayer for up to 8 consoles, so that could be another way to convince families to grab another Switch (or two, or three, or seven) for the kids. No it isn’t, SMO had a much better looking box than this. Grip and Joycon pic may have been copy and pasted.😂 Lizuka Really? Why? I haven't actually played U Deluxe but I've played a bunch of the other NSMB games, and they're kind of mediocre, while Odyssey is probably one of the best games I've ever played. It's game night! Mario and his Mushroom Kingdom friends are playing together in another board game-style title. Collect the most Stars to win. A Mario for every mood

This is marketed for people who don’t have a Switch yet. The market is very small. This could’ve been marketed as an incentive for folks like me to finally upgrade to OLED. Nintendo Switch continues to be one of the most popular devices, and with games such as Breath of the Wild 2 ( Tears of the Kingdom) and Metroid Prime 4 still to come, there's plenty of life left in Nintendo's hybrid console. Discover the charming world of Animal Crossing, build your very own little island, make friends with cute neighbours, go fishing, take up gardening and even dig up fossils and bones to build up your town's museum, there are so many things to do, people to see and tasks to complete as you build your very own little piece of paradise. So, your choice between two 10 year old games or a 5 year old game, w/ the old model console? At least 5 years ago I got a carry case.😁 There better be an absolute platforming masterpiece in the pipeline for late this year or early 2024, because all this is seriously starting to get on my nerves. Nintendo recently changed the release date for the Super Mario Bros. Movie yet again, but this time moving it forward two days for the US and over 60 other global markets, with the highly anticipated film now launching on April 5th, 2023. I wouldn't be surprised. They had a similar approach with Wii and Wii U. Then again, this is post-Iwata Nintendo. They've done a lot of things that are atypical to their habits in the past. I wouldn't completely blame them either. Switch won't keep the momentum up for more than two years. People just lose interest and want something new. We need to stop slamming Switch as a mobile device here-this is clearly disrespectful of a hybrid gaming console. It has mobile tech because of the nature of the design but its not a mobile phone and you can't make calls with it. And it's using a old color scheme and not a OLED Mario just leaves one dumbfounded here. Also, I already own the physical three games. Only difference is the red Joy-Cons.
