I'm still a little skeptical of some aspects, but am definitely interested in trying it out and learning more! Also though I recommend this book ANY way you feel like reading it, I DO recommend you listen to it in Gin's voice. Instead of aiming for perfection (which is impossible) or changing everything at once (which is hard, and never leads to lasting change) , you’ll cut through the confusion, lose the fear, and embrace the freedom that comes from becoming clean ( ish ) .

Gin also promotes a daily eating window, some people do OMAD (One Meal a Day) and others have longer eating windows, but usually not more than 8 hours because the point it to give the body a break and to keep insulin levels low. I've listened to about 100 episodes in less than two months (I'm actually really bummed getting just an hour a week now that I caught on. It’s so strange how this book has taken off and developed a cult following when she literally directs you to all of the experts for further reading.

I found it interesting that she lost much of her weight on HCG diet and the 5 bite diet (that was a new one for me) but is using this book to promote OMAD as weight loss diet. Mosley found that by restricting what he was eating on just two days of the week and eating “normally” on the other five days, he not only lost weight but also saw an improvement in various health markers. Less scientific than The Obesity Code: Unlocking the Secrets of Weight Loss, which changed my life, but had some real practical gems that I'm going to implement.

In your first 28 days, you won’t necessarily see big results yet as your body is still adjusting, but if you do it consistently and rightfully, expect to see your desired results in no time. When she implemented Intermittent Fasting, permanent weight loss became a reality for the first time.
