Lady Gaga stands in a kitchen while dancers cavort behind her, wielding salad tongs and assorted cutlery. Gaga recorded "Telephone" with her for the extended play (EP) The Fame Monster (2009)—the reissue of her debut studio album, The Fame (2008). According to James Montgomery from MTV, "Telephone" helped Gaga's ascent to the upper echelons of pop stardom, alongside others on par with Madonna and Michael Jackson in terms of showmanship.

Lady Gaga wears a custom dress and a belt by Rachael Barrett, and a custom headpiece by Fred Butler.Strutting around their corpses, Gaga and Beyoncé dance in American flag-inspired garments and shredded denim.

Continuing the "Paparazzi" video references, Beyoncé wears all yellow when she goes to the diner, as well as Lady Gaga's Minnie Mouse sunglasses from the murder scene of "Paparazzi. In February 2010, Gaga commented, "What I like about it is it's a real true pop event, and when I was younger, I was always excited when there was a big giant event happening in pop music and that's what I wanted this to be. Gene Grimaldi, Larry Ryckman and Ari Blitz did the song's mastering at Oasis Mastering ( Burbank, California), AfterMaster Recording and Mastering Studios (Los Angeles). There are two weather reports, one for Los Angeles "LA H 89 L 75", and one for New York "NY H 91 L 80".When Tyrese confront the other diners at the bar at 6:01, the hanging television shows Jai Rodriguez (the reporter who later talks about the mass homicide there) reporting on Lady Gaga being bailed out of prison, again showing her booking photographs from "Paparazzi". In the video, Gaga used items, which she said some viewers mistook as product placements, but were actually references to Andy Warhol (pictured in 1973), as part of her commentary on American commercialism in technology and information overload.

Because of this misunderstanding, she decided to not showcase so many products in her future music videos. Mike "Handz" Donaldson recorded Gaga's vocals at Darkchild Studios (Los Angeles), and Hisashi Mizoguchi did Beyoncé's at Studio Groove (Osaka, Japan).I’m so glad I wasn’t trying to film this project, because it was so fiddly and confusing that I have no idea how I would have edited it for the camera. Gaga originally wrote the song for Britney Spears, however, plans did not go through and Gaga recorded the song for herself featuring Beyoncé as a guest vocalist. Jack Halberstam suggested that "Telephone" is not just a simple pop song but a deeper commentary on the role of technology in our lives, media manipulation and the emergence of new forms of gender and sexuality in the digital age.

Not that we are super fans of Lady Gaga, but we have to congratulate her stylist for continuously doing such an amazing work, and especially on Gaga’s newest vide, Telephone. She described it as a feeling of "suffocation—something that I have or fear is never being able to enjoy myself,[. At the end of the video, Gaga ends up poisoning her boyfriend while looking like a damn goddess out of my weirdest dreams. Katrin Horn saw the car in "Telephone" as a symbol for "freedom, mobility, and unity" between Gaga and Beyoncé, as opposed to Tarantino's film where it visually represents the sexual objectification of the female protagonist. The explicit video was flagged on YouTube, only allowing people 18 years old or above to view (although this restriction has since been removed) and the video is broadcast on television exclusively in obscure or late-night rotation.

Fear of suffocation—something that I have or fear is never being able to enjoy myself, … ‘Cause I love my work so much, I find it really hard to go out and have a good time. I did two coats on the outside of the hat and one coat on the inside, and with everything else there is to paint too, I’d recommend having two bottles of paint on hand if you’re going to try this project. Inside a women's prison, two guards put Gaga behind bars and strip her naked while several other inmates mock her. This includes Sawdey, who wrote that because of the rapid-fire beat and energetic verses, "Telephone" delivered an adrenaline-fueled experience. After Beyoncé has said her line, "I knew you'd take all my honey, you selfish motherfucker" his head is further over, on the table, with no food on his face although he had just fallen into it.
