Bratzillaz (1st Edition): Cloetta Spelletta, Jade J'Adore, Meygana Broomstix, Sashabella Paws, Yasmina Clairvoya Thank you again to MGA Entertainment for gifting me this set of Bratz dolls, and thank YOU—the reader—for reading this article about the dolls! Jury rules for Mattel in Bratz doll case". The New York Times. Reuters. 18 July 2008 . Retrieved 7 December 2008. Sasha and Dylan have been paired in collections consistently, which can sometimes be seen behind-the-box and have often been illustrated many times in correlation to other well-known Bratz romances in earlier years. In the CGI series, Dylan seems to be the only person that Sasha is comedic with, since she often makes jokes toward only him. It is unclear if Sasha has/had mutual feelings toward Dylan, but despite this, they are one of the most popular pairs in the Bratz Fandom. Hi I'm Sasha, my friends call me 'Bunny Boo', because I hop to my own beat! My fashion passion is streetwear-chic with hip-hop influences. I'm always jamming to the hottest tunes and sharing them with friends!" [7] Are you wondering what head mold and face application is used on the Bratz x Kylie Jenner dolls? The Kylie dolls use the original 2001 head mold, and I believe the method used to apply the faceups is a mix of stamping and spraying. Sasha has tons of pets growing up, including a bunny, Bunny Boo, two ponies, Sashay when she was a baby and Ambrosia and a Tokyo pet, Dioji, a Robot Dog when she went to Japan with her friends.Unsurprisingly, the Series 3 dolls use the original 2001 bodies with the exception of Koby who uses the 2003 Boyz body. While I am not the biggest fan of the original bodies and would like an upgrade in the future, the body keeps in line with the reproductions being mostly faithful to the original dolls. Similar to the Fall 2022 dolls, the body’s plastic is closer to the plastic on the original bodies and is less “matte” like other reproductions released in the past year. Just like the Series 2 dolls, all of the girls have different colored underwear that matches their color palettes! other features Better put on your shades. My spotlight shines bright, and I'm going for it all - fame, fortune & friends!" [8] Sasha shares a name with a character from MGA Entertainment sister brand Moxie Girlz, who was introduced in 2009. On January 24, 2011, MGA hired Morgan Mendieta to create a teaser for an upcoming Bratz reality series. He leaked a rough cut of the teaser on his blog. [ citation needed] The show, titled Bratz Makin' the Band, is an online talent competition reality show, in which Bratz fans will form bands and compete via the Bratz YouTube channel. The last five bands will be flown to Hollywood, California, where they will be followed and interviewed by reporters. The winners will receive all prizes, including electric guitars. The leaked teaser also confirmed the release of a Bratz DVD due out in Fall 2011, also titled Bratz Makin' The Band. This is a follow-up to Mini Bratz x Kylie Jenner Series 1. The second series will feature 6 more mini Kylie dolls, another velvet rope, a telephone booth, a motorcycle, a purple-themed Retro-Swing Chair, a television, and vanity playset.

Unsurprisingly, the Pretty ‘N’ Punk dolls use the original 2001 bodies with the exception of Eitan who uses the 2003 Boyz body. While I am not the biggest fan of the original bodies and would like an upgrade in the future, the body keeps in line with the reproductions being mostly faithful to the original dolls. Similar to the Fall 2022 dolls, the body’s plastic is closer to the plastic on the original bodies and is less “matte” like other reproductions released in the past year. other features Lil' Angelz (1st Edition): Yasmin, Cloe, Meygan, Jade, Sasha, Fianna, Katia, Charli, Sharidan, Leah, Vinessa, Nevra, Dana, Tess, Sorya, Kiani, Lilee, Tali, Krysta, Breeana, Ashley, Trinity, Roxxi, Phoebe, Lela, Carlyn, Nona, Maribel, Tiana (2004)

In this case, I do believe the Bratz x Kylie dolls utilized the stamp method for the eyes and the spray method for the lips. While I wish the dolls were completely sprayed, I do not mind the use of the stamp method when the dolls look pretty. If the current Bratz roster is utilizing the stamp method, I think this is okay as long as the dolls look good; on that note, the Bratz x Kylie dolls are facially gorgeous aside from placement issues with some batches. Nylon hair appears to be the current standard for the Bratz brand, as is the case for most MGA doll brands since 2019. For context on some of the different hair types used on Bratz, nylon has often been confused with polypropylene, which is a hair fiber that was used in a majority of lines between 2008-2013 and is known for being hard to manage and prone to degrading over time, because of a name mix-up over a decade ago. Saran—which has been used on most Bratz released between 2001-2007, 2015-2018, and on most of the Bratz 20 Yearz Special Edition dolls (except for some later variants which use nylon) released in 2021—is a great hair fiber that has always satisfied collectors, though it is prone to yellowing and degrading over time. Nylon is another premium hair type that can be easily restyled with heated hair tools and is less likely to degrade over time like saran and polypropylene can do. Saran hair is harder to come by in certain colors and is not as commonly used in modern doll production due to rising prices, so nylon provides a way for consumers to have these hair colors without resorting to using low-grade polypropylene. Nylon also tends to feel really nice and oftentimes better than saran, so I hope this is something that stays for most—if not all—future Bratz doll releases.

The Bratz relaunched a second time for 14 years in July 2015 with the introduction of Raya, a new character (despite sharing the same name with a previous character), to accompany the original main four. The Bratz logo was reverted to the original and a new slogan was adopted. After a poorly executed re-branding and low sales, the brand discontinued for a second time the following year. Well, if you didn’t already know, MGA has been slowly reproducing and reintroducing beloved characters from the Bratz brand with their “Core Series” line since 2021’s 20 Yearz Special Edition collection consisting of the core four Bratz girls and Cameron in their debut fashion looks. The following year, fans were surprised to see reproductions of five secondary characters (Meygan, Kiana, Kumi, Nevra, and Dylan) from the brand’s prime years with the Series 2 collection. Now, almost nine months later, MGA has officially released their Series 3 lineup—Dana, Felicia, Tiana, Fianna, and Koby! Sasha went to prom with Koby as shown in the commercial and promotional images for the Formal Funk line. The spokesman quoted Dr. Brian Young of the University of Exeter, saying "parents may feel awkward but I don't think children see the dolls as sexy. They just think they're pretty." [16] Isaac Larian, in comments given to the BBC, said that the report was a "bunch of garbage" and that the people who wrote it were "acting irresponsibly". [17]

October 31: The first in-box picture of the Alwayz Bratz dolls is revealed via an MGA employee’s LinkedIn profile. Love her or hate her, Kylie Jenner has been on a roll this year between launching a new clothing brand, a recent guest star stint on The Simpsons, and—most of all—collaborating with MGA Entertainment on a line of Bratz dolls and collectibles. While this collaboration has been the topic of controversy, it has proven to be a celebrated release for Bratz and Kylie Jenner fans alike… but maybe not for the reasons you would think! January 20: Target inventory listings confirm that the Series 3 lineup will feature Dana, Fianna, Tiana, Felicia, and Koby. Note: Yasmin, Cloe, and Jade were released as part of a first wave, while Sasha, Meygan, and Eitan were released as part of a second wave.Sasha is a unisex name which originated in Eastern and Southern European countries as the shortened version of Alexander and Alexandra. It is unknown if Sasha's name is short for Alexandra or not. In April 2005, MGA Entertainment filed a lawsuit against Mattel, claiming that the " My Scene" line of Barbie dolls had copied the doe-eyed look of Bratz dolls. [20] It added the word "only" to the toy line's slogan "The only girls with a passion for fashion" by attempting to isolate their dolls from Mattel's as many casual consumers confused the difference of two brands. Thank you again to MGA Entertainment for gifting me this set of Series 2 dolls, and thank YOU—the reader—for reading this article about the collection! June 13: More brand-new Bratz artwork debuts at the Licensing Expo in Las Vegas, as well as a sneak peek of a potential Pretty ‘N’ Punk Fashion Organizer Hatbox reproduction. Outside of dancing Sasha enjoys singing, rapping, playing her guitar, and scratching her turntables.
