Description

This figure was only released to test markets in Ohio, USA in very limited quantities. It was never available as a wide release. Robotmasters Skywarp is a redeco of Starscream from the same series, a re-imagining of the original Generation 1 figure, retaining its basic transformation scheme, but designed to be closer to the animation model, with greater articulation and integrated parts that do not require detachment during transformation. The only pieces that now need to be removed are Skywarp's rifles, which move from his wings to his arms. He has three peg-holes on each arm, allowing the rifles to be mounted on his shoulders, on his forearms, or in his fists. These holes are also designed to accommodate the generic spring-loaded missile launcher weapon included with Robotmasters G1 Convoy, Beast Convoy and Beast Megatron.

A redeco of the Classics Starscream mold, Timelines Sunstorm transforms into a F-15 Eagle, but has the nose of an F-14 Tomcat fighter jet. His missile launchers can mount under his wings, on his shoulders, or in his fists, and fire spring-loaded projectiles. The large size of his launchers (necessary for safety reasons) restricts his arm movement somewhat in robot mode, as they bump into his wings. All three Rainmakers have slight tolerance issues with the white parts, making key joints juuuuuust a bit too tight. The term Seeker refers to Decepticon jet troopers who share Starscream's body-type but with different colors or minor variations in wing and head shapes. This is most clearly and commonly known from Generation 1, but any franchise with a Starscream is almost inevitably going to feature a similar "family" of redecoed jet-formers.What a treat! I just love it when your little insect feet try to run! Time for a look at the recently released MPM-10 Starscream. This hit globally and has already worked itself to big box and out here in the States. Starscream is the 10th Masterpiece Movie figure, if you include the first 2 from Japan which were high deco versions of Leader Class figures from the time. He scales well with MPM-5 Barricade and MPM-8 Megatron. Screamer features his Movie 1 look with a little artistic license on the grey areas of his jet mode. Robot mode keeps all the weird proportions and gangliness of his movie style with a complicated but not insane transformation. All in all it’s a solid entry on par with the rest of the line. Aside from price, these are great “better than Generations” options, coming in below a ThreeZero style offering but above Studio Series in terms of realism. Whether or not the cost is worth it depends on your collection preferences of course. They aren’t my main focus right now, but I do like busting out the MPMs and messing around with them whenever something drops.

After the war between the Autobots and Decepticons ended, Sunstorm fell victim to Bombshell's experiments with brainwashing individuals into mindless shells for the sake of creating the perfect combiner. Before the Dawn When Prowl had discovered Bombshell had murdered Skydive and came to arrest him, Bombshell had the mind-controlled Sunstorm hold Prowl and Arcee off while he made his escape. The altercation ended with Sunstorm being stabbed and killed by Arcee. Devisive

Threezero Transformers Deluxe Revenge Of The Fallen Jetfire 1/6 Figure

Unite Warriors "Ghost Starscream" is a new-head retooling of Combiner Wars Deluxe Class Skydive, transforming into a made-up fighter jet that looks to be based on an F/A-18 Hornet. Like so many other "ghost" Starscream figures, he is cast almost completely in translucent plastics. While the three named Seekers in the set were originally intended to have a sparkly paint job to differentiate them from the normal retail versions, that ended up not happening and they ended up basically the same.

As a Deluxe-sized Unite Warriors figure, he can form the leg or arm of any Combiner Wars-style Combiner or into one of Legends Godbomber's legs, but is normally associated with Grand Galvatron. As such, his large (non-firing) double-missile-launcher accessory can convert into either a hand or foot for combiner forms. A subsequent interview in Transformers Generations 2015 named Kobayashi as the designer of Ironhide, confirming him as the designer in question.A Hobby Magazine issue revealed that his chest was redesigned during the prototype's production, allowing the parts to correctly sit flush.
