Description

The game tells the story of a young girl, whom dad – a simple fisherman – went missing one day. In her dreams she was convinced that he is trapped beneath the sea, so she decided to build a submarine to rescue him, and so her journey began. As she explores the wonderful but dangerous underwater world, she learns that many of her father’s bed stories are not as ridiculous and unbelievable as they firstly sounded. The game offers a moderate challenge that comes mainly in form of various puzzles, but some arcade combat sequences are also present. Key features Still, that doesn’t mean you can solve the game by any measure. It’s still down to the roll of the dice, and the suspense that brings is wonderful. The game is wisely divided into three different rounds so people get opportunities to catch up and hunt the big treasure. All of the treasure pieces taken each round shrink the game space so the big points become even more easy to obtain as the game progresses. The visuals will bring people to the table, and that gambling/party atmosphere created through consequential dice rolls will keep them there. There are no unnecessary rules here; there’s no flash or ostentatiousness. Deep Sea Adventure is exactly what it wants to be and nothing more.

Green panics and drops their treasure, to ensure they’re not using up any oxygen and so that they can travel faster than the rest of us. It doesn’t take long for them to overtake you and yellow. When moving past an Undersea Chip being explored by another Diver, jump over that Chip without counting it. If your roll takes you beyond the last Undersea Chip, stop on that Chip. Remember when Love Letter was the hot new game taking the western world by storm? A fun game, with fun art, and only 18 cards! This was going to be the beginning of a wave of small Asian games hitting the western world. Ultimately it didn’t end up being as big of a wave as people speculated, but we’re certainly seeing more than we would have, ceteris paribus. Gameplay is light as a feather set up with a ridiculous premise. You’re all old-timey deep sea explorers trying to discover treasure. The only problem is that you, collectively, can only afford one submarine and one shared oxygen supply. A classic blunder.Control your submarine with the turbines; as well as claws, weaponry, and drills! #Updated to include simpler submarine controls as an option.

Place the Submarine where it is clearly visible to all players. Place the Air Marker over "25" on the Submarine Board. When a player lands on a token, they have to make a decision to take the token or leave it on the board. This is where the game takes a turn and becomes way more difficult than expected. For each token a player has collected during the round, they lower the communal oxygen level by that many points in future turns. They also take that number of points off their dice roll on their turn. A player who rolls a 4 and has 2 treasure tokens can now only move 2 spaces because the treasure is weighing them down.I can’t say that Deep Sea Adventure is a strategy game. The dice dictate how fast and how far you travel. Bad rolls happen and can really impede players at times. BUT, if you go into Deep Sea Adventure without some kind of strategy, you’ll be left floating outside the submarine while your friends wave to you from inside counting their treasure. The main problem with this game can be if you have a risk-averse person. This can make it seem as if they aren’t trying. Often they settle for one piece of treasure while everyone There are games with certain educational value, and Beyond Blue is one of them, making this title a perfect choice not only for those who look for a bit of entertainment but also for those who wish to learn a few things about our underwater world.

I don’t know if your group of friends is the same as mine but somehow I don’t think buying an old submarine is one of our goals. But here in the champions of tiny box games, Oink Games presents Deep Sea Adventure and this is the story line we are presented with. In the Teal-tinged box ‘game board ‘is ready to adapt to any surface you might find yourself on.This engaging game takes you on a journey through three unique worlds, each with its own challenges and secrets to uncover. From the colorful coral reefs of the first world to the dark and dangerous depths of the third world, you'll never know what's waiting for you around the next corner. Conquer Fearsome Foes and Collect Valuable Treasures

Remove all Blank Undersea Chips from the line of Undersea Chips and slide together the remaining Undersea Chips to close any gaps. Survive an often brutal world of bosses, turrets, and poisonous plants, filled with lots of sea life to find- including Sharks, Orcas, Whales, Jellyfish, and lots of fish! Players take one Sea Diver piece each, according to preference, and place these pieces flat on the Submarine Board with their pointed bellies pointing down. Beyond Blue is an educational game, so it’s a solid choice for kids, who can learn a thing or two about what we can find under the ocean. For a more mature audience, it also could be a source of joy, as finding out how rich the underwater fauna is, is an enlightening experience in itself. The game is played from a third-person perspective and its gameplay revolves mainly around diving and scanning the nearby environment for new life forms. This, combined with the game’s beautiful graphics, results in a production you don’t want to miss. Key features Abzu is a truly unique production and on several levels. It’s not just a game, it’s an experience – an epic interactive adventure that will take you through the depths of the ocean, where unspoken mysteries and majestic places are yet to be found and revealed. Abzu puts a huge emphasis on exploration and narrative, yet not a single word is spoken through the entire game because the story is told exclusively through simple cutscenes and gameplay itself. One can’t also forget about the other important strength of the game, which is its gorgeous stylized art style – shoals of thousands of fish swimming together is something you will not soon forget. Key featuresCalculate Damage: monster level - your level = damage to you, with a minimum of 0. Example: Monster Level 5 - Your Level 3 = 2 Damage to you.
