MOVIE THOUGHTS: Quentin Tarantino's masterpiece? I think so. What a great movie. I love it and a great addition to my 4K collection. While this is not a UHD that is going to blow everyone away with a "wow" factor, it is a very stable and healthy image and one that offers a

What is the use of a desktop wallpaper? Well, adding a wallpaper to your desktop is not mandatory. In fact, you can decide to use a dark colour, and life will move on as usual. However, this element comes with a sense of beauty. They add glamor to your computer and make it look aesthetically appealing and highly presentable. Sometimes, people display their feelings through the use of desktop wallpapers. Interesting, huh? You can add an image that shows how you feel or one that means something to you. Adding a quote will act as a reminder of what inspires you in your day-to-day life. That said, desktop wallpapers cannot be ignored, they mean different things to different people. There's camera ringing, and at times it's quite heavy. There's perspective distortion and lens distortion. Edges of shots curve. I think this is due to the lenses used, but if that's incorrect, please let me know in the comments. Also, with the camera ringing, there's also color bleeding. Film grain is light and very consistent apart from one scene.Sadly, nothing new has been created for this 4K release, but that’s OK. We’ve got plenty of supplemental content, though most of it resides on the Blu-ray. I won’t bother with a plot recitation, since I’m sure you’re familiar with it if you’re reading this review. If you’re wondering what the fuss is all about, I would even recommend Pulp Fiction as a blind buy in this new 4K Ultra HD release from Paramount. The only bummer about it is that they didn’t use the iconic theater poster art on the front of this SteelBook.

Charlie Rose Show– A rather long (almost an hour) look at Tarantino’s life. His origin into film, his vast knowledge and everything else relating to the film are all covered here. A bit long, but well worth it. Though this might have been ripe for a new Dolby Atmos mix, Paramount has taken the same DTS HD Master Audio from the Blu-ray. Dialogue, which is a staple of Tarantino’s films, sounds crisp and rich. Trust me, there’s no better way to hear Jules’“preaching” than in pure, uncompressed sound. The surrounds also came into play much more than I expected. Little things like a motorcycle starting up or a crowd of people talking (when Butch hits Marcellus with his car). If those opening credits don’t get your heart rate into triple digits, I’m guessing nothing will. Supplements: What are the extras? Siskel & Ebert At the Movies: The Tarantino Generation(16 minutes): Remember those guys? I grew up on their show, and this is a segment from that series in which the pair of critics talk about Tarantino’s impact on movies.right, but when looking at the grading directly compared to the old Blu-ray, the improvements are substantial. Known for its relentlessly quotable dialogue - rich with razor-sharp wit and incessant pop culture references - for its iconic characters and unforgettable shots; and for its stunning blend of striking, unflinching violence, and ironic humour; for its non-linear narrative and the distinctive style pervading throughout, Pulp Fiction ushered in a new era of crime dramas, with endless imitators but no equals, even from Tarantino himself.

Quentin Tarantino’s first two films: Reservoir Dogs and now Pulp Fiction, have both benefitted from 4K releases. I had high hopes for this one, having just recently reviewed Reservoir Dogs and was blown away by the image. I’ll get this out of the way first – I did prefer the picture on Reservoir Dogs to this one, but that’s not to say that this one is bad – far from it, actually. This isn’t a night and day difference from the previously-released Blu-ray. In fact, most 4K movies aren’t. Rather, the 2.39:1 HEVC 4K image takes what was good and adds to it. Colors are more vibrant, detail has been increased and with the aid of HDR, many of the scenes have far better contrast. Given that this film was a higher profile movie than its predecessor, I’ve always found it an attractive-looking movie. The bottom line – was it worth the wait? I think it was and what we’ve got is the best this film has ever looked on any home video format. Audio: How does it sound? Paramount Home Media releases Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction (1994) on 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray on Dec. 6, 2022. The upgraded film is available in both a standard plastic edition and Limited Edition SteelBook, each with a second copy on 1080p Blu-ray and a code to redeem a Digital Copy. Each disc contains legacy special features, but the Blu-ray houses much more bonus content than the 4k Blu-ray. Not the Usual Mindless Boring Getting to Know You Chit Chat (43 minutes): This is an extra that was created for the 2011 Blu-ray. It features Tarantino and the cast reuniting to discuss the film and its legacy. Paramount releases Pulp Fiction to the UHD format with a 2160p/Dolby Vision presentation. This hotly anticipated release will not be Deleted Scenes(24.5 minutes): This is a group of five excised scenes with introductions by Tarantino, who dismisses any talk of a Director’s Cut that reinstates the footage. Considering the clout he developed a long time ago, I’m sure he could have released such a version if he wanted to, so fans should respect his wishes. That said, there’s some interesting footage to be found here.

Pulp Fiction: The Facts – Documentary– This is more of a biopic on Tarantino, but it also tells of the origins of the film and how he came to be. Very interesting, though I felt a bit manufactured. The transfer is gorgeous. The movie has never looked this good ever on home video. I remember watching this on Laserdisc, I can still remember how it looks to this day. This 4K transfer is absolutely excellent! At no point does the film grain break up into digital noise. That's my biggest thing. Sure, we have analog artifacts from the camera, but please...I don't want the image to look digital. Thankfully, it doesn't. It looks like film. It looks analog, and that's a thing of beauty. When movies are bought to 4K Blu-ray, this is what I want. Minimal digital work done and allow this great format to capture that. We have that here with this transfer. material promised a new transfer on the Blu-ray, what is included appears to be identical to the 2011
