I really appreciate the way this book led me to try dishes with ingredients I don’t usually like, like raw celery. Definitely catered toward a younger demographic and those new to the kitchen - would recommend if you fall in that target audience. There are lots of shortened food words (as seen in the above recipe titles) and many mostly gratuitous swear words (although not as many as Thug Kitchen's). My oven is accurate and I used a very heavy pan (Staub) so I am not sure why this recipe worked for others as written and not for me. There are photos of every recipe and my finished dishes have mostly looked liked the photos - possibly because of that filter?While it was very tasty as written, I did miss the flavor of soy sauce and I think I'll add just a tablespoon or so to the marinade next time I attempt this. My one issue was adding a whole tablespoon of salt with the vegetables which I feel must surely not be right.
