It boasts the same magnetic drive technology as the other brushes in Oral-B’s flagship iO-Series range, but comes without the advanced sensors and Bluetooth connectivity to monitor your brushing and send the data to your smartphone. In practice, that means a quieter brush with a more comfortable vibration, and one that still leaves your incisors feeling polished and your molars super-clean, as well as doing a fantastic job of clearing plaque from between your teeth. Smart Series: The Smart series builds on the Pro series with Bluetooth connectivity and basic smart features. Some models are quite old now, but still effective. Whilst it is up for question as to whether Oral-B’s implementation is the best route to go, it is a logical one and perhaps to me the most obvious option as more and more of us have our smartphones on us all the time and often pay more attention to what they are telling us more than other humans sometimes. There is no app for the desktop computer, for Windows phone or other platforms, so do bear this in mind.In my experience, the Oral-B Genius 8000 emits a distinct sound louder than other electric toothbrushes I’ve used. The oscillating, rotating, and pulsating action creates this increase in sound. This price does exclude the cost of water, toothpaste and electric to charge it, but you get a rough idea and is one of if not the cheapest decent electric toothbrushes available at the moment.
