Description

This is a potent spicy green clean fresh classic from Versace that is almost certainly Old Skool but with that touch of class. This is what Dreamer smells to me. It actually has a similar vibe like Chacharel Noa (the Nivea Soft type of smell), but it's more masculine, peppery, but also floral fresh. This scent seems to be the younger, fresher, more coquettish brother from Prada Amber Pour Homme. They are not similar! They just share this pure, powdery/balsamic vibe. It's not bad though and I can appreciate the juniper and tarragon combo, especially how it sort of recreates the scent profile of more elaborated fragrances with just those 2 notes (and maybe some hedione).

It is pretty potent for the cheap price and a few other design houses could learn lessons here as Versace never seem to fail in the performance department. These are different, but there is a similar overall powdery-aromatics & a musk/white-musk vibe, although the soft purple tones are lavender in English Laundry Signature and iris-violet in The Dreamer. English Laundry Signature has a more forward woody accord, while The Dreamer has more forward iris-violet accords. Both have good performance.I love this scent for men and I think that it is a very sexy and masculine blend that smells clean, confident and like something a guy could wear to either a date or a board meeting and slay. Rich Tobacco is the heart of the scent. That brings the masculinity into the other gentle and flowery notes. The dreamer likely suits me better than the masses, but if you're searching for an inexpensive and readily available daily wear, or an interesting and slightly exotic change-up to add to your rotation, it's worth giving it a go. The good news is that as challenging and polarizing as it can be, it does seem to do well smelled from a distance. Dreamer I feel is like an oil painting. Getting too close will let you see some interesting detail, but you miss the forest for the trees. It's one of my top fragrances in unsolicited female comments (women could easily wear this) and my wife's absolute favorite in my collection. It's certainly doing something right.

I don’t think the sales lady knew that, either. At least she did not say, she just agreed with me, that it is really really lovely. Also if you are looking for something more punchy (not only on opening), more aggressive, the smell that will project feets away and scream your name then also reconsider getting this fragrance.Versace Dreamer is pretty verstile for fall-spring. I don't know if it would work in summer, especially an Arizona summer at 100+ temps. That said, it is work ready, date ready and upscale. Dreamer also has great performance and lasts about 10-12 hours. The longevity of The Dreamer is as immense as the Roman Empire. After twelve hours on my skin is still quite decernable and projects extremely well at about six feet for the first three to four hours. It is to be applied with a light finger or you might find you are overpowering as you pass the innocent bystander. This is a love or hate fragrance. It's the smell of a crisp clean white shirt with a little fresh cigar smoke on it. Not stale smoke, but the kind of smoke while smoking a quality cigar. Some people love that smell, and others gag on it. Lastly, shills will often have little info about themselves or their wardrobe in their profile. However, people are catching on to that, so shills are now adding more info in their profile.

The Dreamer turns soft, sweeter, and floral with the drydown, but the tobacco notes remain prominent. As for the middle, rose, geranium and carnation notes usher in a refreshingly fresh heart. These are different, but there are similarities with the powdery-aromatic vibe, although the soft purple tones are lavender in Le Male and iris-violet in The Dreamer. Le Male has more forward vanilla & cinnamon accords, while The Dreamer has more forward iris-violet accords. Both have excellent performance.

Even if the fragrance is a bit older, it is by no means outdated or does not fit into the present day. The best tobacco scent combined with flowers (lily, iris and some kind of rose effect) and lavender in the heart mixed with soothing juniper! Faboulus! It's Unique and classic at the same time. It's quite an elegant scent in a beautiful luxurious bottle. I always get a lot of compliments with this fragrance. As much fun as the dreamer is for me, it's a little too whimsical and androgynous for me to make it my default go-to everyday scent. Its slight novelty role might also be why I enjoy it so much. However, the dreamer has become a favorite of mine that I wear at least weekly. I think it shines most in the spring time or in mild climates but is versatile enough to be wearable through all the seasons.I think it’s a great value for money. I think if you like “edgy” florals. I think you should get it. I think for every fragrance you want, you should get a sample size and or a travel size spray to test. But i got this as a blind buy and it ended being my signature. And add to the fact is people don’t really know about this. So you will stand out. It smells of fresh rolled up tobacco, which is not offensive to most people. But mainly you get amber, lavender (hints of rose and Iris, barely detectable but there), but people who smoked roll ups will detect that tobacco too. Importantly, it is also clean. If you have tried Prada L'homme/Amber/ Amouage reflection, it's that sort of clean in the dry down. Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS. The heart is floral and indicates a slightly sweet development, marked by the earthy powderiness of the iris and which I don't care much about (I don't get along much with Iris, but that's just me). The Dreamer opens with a dry lavender blast that finds warmth in mandarin orange notes and a dusting of Clary sage. It recalls the mix of smells one encounters in the Campo de’ Fiori in Rome around one in the afternoon when the morning odors of fruits mingle with the heated afternoon scent of herbs and flowers.
