It’s not a bad thing in itself that it doesn’t turn easily because a dive watch can’t have an easy-to-turn bezel. Besides, most of us won’t be using it frequently anyway, and it serves more of a visual purpose rather than practical. However, I would’ve preferred a somewhat easier operation of the bezel. The Invicta Pro Diver also comes 200m (660ft) water-resistant. I haven’t tried it out in the water yet, but swimming or snorkeling shouldn’t be a problem with this watch. However, taking it deep down for diving might not be the best of decisions.

The case is when the Pro Diver begins to demonstrate Invicta’s price. The cleaning and polishing of the case are adequate but not exceptional. The shiny sides of the case have a tiny jagged look. However, it is hardly noticeable during typical usage. When someone is thinking about buying the watch, I think the question is more related to how those with informed horology opinions feel about it. I see threads on forums all the time asking if this watch is any good and the comments are usually all over the place and honestly unhelpful. The worst comment of all is someone telling the poster that for the same money they could get a Seiko SNK or something such. That’s the worst response ever – this isn’t a decision based on value first. The hunt for a 40mm Sub case is a personal decision based on looks– you’re interested in the Invicta Pro Diver because of how it looks. However, what makes my heart beat faster and what I really appreciate in a watch is the automatic movement. And that’s probably the best bit you’ll get with the Invicta Pro Diver 8926OB.if joy per dollar spent were a factor, these are top watches. they shouldn’t be judged by all the other cr*p Invicta puts out. judged on their own, if you want a great spec, classic style sub that looks good (yes, except for the engraved ‘invicta’ on the side), then this is totally worth it. In terms of value, they make some of the cheapest watches on the market in designs that, at first look, appear to be similar. The problem of grades is a little hazier. Although Invicta advertises itself as a Swiss watchmaker operating in the Swiss heritage, not every watch in their inventory has Swiss timekeeping. This does not always indicate a decrease in quality. A quartz watch is, in fact, more accurate than a traditional Swiss manual watch. But, based on the pricing from this brand, their watches have great quality and can withstand any water activities, and still work. Should You Invest in an Invicta Watch? All in all, my wearing experience couldn’t have been better as the Invicta Pro Diver makes it an excellent everyday wearable. A: The bulk of Invicta watches examined are made of stainless steel. It is definitely the most popular material in the business. Q: How long does the battery in an Invicta watch last?

From my own experience, I can say that the Invicta 8926OB is definitely worth purchasing, especially considering the unbelievable price that gets you a Submariner lookalike with an NH35 automatic caliber. For the price, the watch offers more than you can wish for. And although I have worn it for only a couple of weeks, the whole construction and the prestige of the caliber suggests a long lifetime. The NH35 caliber is therefore equipped with features that watch enthusiasts appreciate the most. Moreover, it keeps an accurate time as well. In recent years, the business has concentrated on producing large items that have left customers perplexed and disappointed. Various people assumed it would be another blunder, yet it may be the watch that enables them to turn things around when the Pro Diver was announced. The Details ⚫The Material Finally, there’s also the Invicta 8926, which comes with a scalloped bezel instead of the coin-edge version. All the other visual and physical features are identical to the 8926OB. The materials used to construct the Invicta Pro Diver are of very high grade. The metal used is strong stainless steel that feels solid when touched. It also boasts a scratch-resistant mineral crystal and a fully efficient bezel.

Similar Model Styles

The Invicta Pro Diver’s case is a tug-of-war of extremes for me. There are aspects I find incredible about it but there is also one thing that makes my blood boil. The two most significant cons I faced were the almost non-existent luminosity and the rattling noise of the bracelet. The best part of the watch is probably the main reason you’re considering it – the 40mm Sub case. Finding a watch that executes the traditional Rolex Submariner case to a high degree is a journey that most watch enthusiasts will find themselves on at some point. Plenty of microbrands offers sub cases and a whole mess of microbrands do as well. Another problem that caught my eye, although a slight one, is the gap between the three links when bending the bracelet. What causes it is the pinhole in the center link that seems to be too wide. The gap is also the very reason contributing to the rattling noise of the bracelet. It all leans on what you’re looking for. Invicta is not a luxury item watch, so if you prefer a brand to say anything about yourself, they are probably not for you. However, if you want a watch brand that will keep its worth or perhaps rise in value over time, you should consider a more expensive brand.

The first thing you’ll notice is the sweeping second’s hand that makes six steps in a second and gives a nice gliding motion. Those of you who have worn only quartz watches will definitely find the sweeping motion the best part of an automatic timepiece. Despite its high water resistance level, the watch isn’t ISO-certified for professional diving. It means it hasn’t been tested in real conditions in the sea but in still water in the laboratory. It may withstand the conditions you’ll face with recreational diving (up to 100ft), but I wouldn’t bet on that. I did the first image right after strong light exposure, the other one approximately an hour later, and the third one three hours later. The results were disappointing, to say the least. I would have hoped to get a much better luminosity from a diver than from a casual chronograph.

Replace a band

If you’re looking for a low-cost watch but are undecided, Invicta is the brand for you. They use largely gold and silver tones, big bezels, and enormous crowns to achieve that massive, manly style. Of course, again, if that’s the look you’re striving for, Invicta would be a good fit. Can you Dive while Wearing the Invicta Pro Diver watch? I’ve been wearing my Invicta Pro Diver 8926OB for several weeks now, and I can’t be happier. It has a nice heft to it (155g), grasps my wrist comfortably, and seems to be very sturdy. The watch isn’t too large to take all the attention, neither is it too small to look awkward on a man’s wrist. This watch has been built and intended to resist extreme water conditions. It’s one of those “you get what you pay for” situations at this price range, but if you purposefully place it in a scenario where it will get destroyed, it will. To help you pass it down to generations, you have to take care of it properly. Frequently Asked Questions Q: How precise is the Invicta Pro Diver? Even though Invicta is proud of its Swiss origins, not all of its timepieces are Swiss on the interior. In truth, while a significant percentage of their production is still done in Switzerland, the bulk of their watches are made in Asia. Also, many of their watches, such as the stainless steel Aviator, forego Swiss watches in favor of Japanese quartz.

A: A 2.5-year battery life is provided by an Invicta watch. This is the normal battery life of most watch brands, which ranges between 2 and 5 years. Final Thoughts The handset, as well as the hour dots, are equipped with greenish luminosity. It is one of the most important features of a dive watch when reading the time underwater is of critical importance. A: When stored, these watches are precise enough, but when worn on the wrist, they lose time at a rate of one to six minutes every day. Q: Can you compete in a swim with an Invicta Pro Diver? It also has exceptional diving qualities, with 200 meters of water resistance and brilliant hands. Overall, the components used in this item are one of the primary reasons why it is such an excellent value. ⚫The MovementSwiss watchmaking has a very specific definition that necessitates an amazing level of meticulousness. A person looking for a Swiss timepiece comprehends that the awareness and workmanship that goes into the watch’s interior structure is more important than timekeeping precision or class.
