There's no way of tweaking anything in their sound balance, as there's no app support here. If you like to adjust your music, you'll have to use whatever EQ your music player might include (if at all). As for the charging case, you care about getting a pillbox-style charging case like most other earbuds cases out there. There is one LED light that lights up depending on the battery juice left in the charging case. The above LED light indicator is a lip for opening up the case and revealing the buds. The sound isolation provided by the EarFun Air is substantially stronger than many average headphones. Just like other models EarFun TW100, Vankyo X400, or even Enacfire T1, the sound on the EarFun TW200 buds is pretty comparable. They sound decently well when it comes to MIDS, highs, and lows. Vocals sound clean and crisp and you are capable to hear every instrument in a song. There is enough bass in these earbuds to give it the best sound and are not overbearing. The EarFun true wireless buds take shape of something we’re all known with: Apple’s Air Pods. This is due to the stem look that’s becoming commonplace on TWS buds. When looking at the stems you will notice Ear Fun Air has their branding towards the bottom.

Last but not the least, inside the buds case you will find a button that is used to start the pairing procedure. EarFun TW200 Review – Sound As mentioned previously, the case has an LED light indicating battery remaining. When it is green there is more than 30% battery life left, orange is less than 30%, red is less than 10%, and flashing red is less than 1%.This form factor was adopted by the EarFun Air but you will also see it on popular brand/models like the Skullcandy Indy True Wireless. Nonetheless, this long piece rarely does become an issue regarding comfort and the light weight of the EarFun add up to an overall comfortable and pleasing experience. The earbuds have the ability to protect water at a level of IPX5. That means it can against water jets 12.5L/min, for example, squirt gun or sweat from exercise. So, the EarFun TW302 is good for outdoor sport and indoor sports. But can’t wear them for swimming or working out whilst hard raining. Among other special features, the EarFun offers USB Type-C connectors, wireless charging compatibility, 4 microphones and single & mono modes. Indeed, the EarFun Air carries a very competent IPX7 waterproof rating, which should make them capable of holding up against dangerous situations (water-related) without damaging, in comparison to many other true wireless earbuds. The buds themselves are well-weighted, comfortable and secure in our ears, with the stems angling slightly forward to follow the line of our cheekbones. The silvery sheen on the angular and stylish new stems completes a premium aesthetic that belies the Earfun Air Pro’s entry-level price point.

This new model has a brand new design but still offers modern features such as touch controls and waterproof resistance. I tend to forever need bigger ear tips and the similar applies here, with the bigger ear tips that are included the fit is just great. I can move around without too much risk of them falling out, but I would not want to go to a run with these earbuds. The below of every TWS buds has 2 gold connector plates that work with the charging case up to buds. There is also another ANC mic that is placed among the 2 gold charging plates. Charging Case This little-known company has produced a comfortable, nicely built set of headphones that also boast excellent battery life, wireless charging support and an expansive listen. If you’re after something inexpensive that’ll sound good on the treadmill, the Earfun Air buds are simply some of the best cheap wireless headphones you can buy. To test the Earfun Air’s low-end reach, we play Stormzy’s Big Michael, and the bass is enthusiastic, energetic and accurate. While the dynamic build is marginally less pronounced than through our control headphones, the Cambridge Audio Melomania 1, the latter set is almost twice as expensive. And remember, those in-ears don’t feature wearer detection and aren’t water-resistant.The EarFun Air’s Charging Case can also be charged wirelessly using virtually and Qi-type charger. In the photo above, I’m using the CHOETECH Wireless Charging Pad, a product we previously reviewed here at The Gadgeteer. Full charging time for the earbuds in the Charging Case is about 1.5 hours, while the Charging Case itself can be charged via the USB-C cable in about 2 hours or via wireless charging in about 3.5 hours. The earphones use Bluetooth 5.0 and supports AAC and SBC Bluetooth codecs. There's no support for AptX. Performance As if that wasn't enough, these are some of the most secure and comfortable buds we've tested (especially for smaller ears) with a solid build quality – they're 37% lighter and 38% smaller than the top-tier WF-1000XM4 buds from Sony, too. Despite the very relaxed midrange tuning, the EarFun Air presents a much more cleaner highs and treble response.

Earfun Air review | What Hi-Fi?

All of the the affordable earbuds in this list come with our recommendation, but often you do get what you pay for in terms of connectivity, build and noise cancellation. With an EQ, their initial bass response is able to be boosted as to become a decently capable TWS for EDM and more depth-hungry genres. The EarFun Air Pro or another known as the EarFun TW302 model. I like the design of Air Pro, the stems earbuds, it’s fit well in my ears. Ear tips are designed to be removable and the company provides 3 different sizes of ear tips (S/M/L) that make more fit for different sizes and shapes of ears. A fine EQ can squeeze out a clearer lower midrange and reduce some of it’s mid-bass bleed without ruining the rest of the mids.ANC is top of your list: There's no active noise cancellation here, sadly, although the hear-through feature works beautifully to stay aware. They're not the nicest-looking buds, but they're incredibly lightweight and comfortable to wear for long periods, and have physical buttons, which we know some people prefer to touch-sensitive surfaces. They come with small, medium or large silicone ear tips, or Flexifit foam tip that expands slightly in your ear for a tighter seal and better passive noise cancellation. The EarFun Air's buds are not exactly small, but they're still comfortable. (Image credit: TechRadar) EarFun Air review: design and features

You need noise cancelling features: It’s the one area where the budget nature of the earbuds becomes clear – premium noise cancelling features are absent. Battery life is seven hours per earbud and 30 hours in total with the case. There’s fast-charging support (10 minutes gives two hours) and compatibility with wireless charging plates, too. With voice assistant control possible, the Free 2’s feature set is robust for the price that EarFun is asking. Sound quality The Earfun Air Pro fit securely, connect easily, have reliable controls and feature basic but effective noise-cancelling profiles – for just a small premium on the Air model. There’s also USB-C charging and wearer detection, plus the sound is pretty decent for the money. In the event that the EarFun Air earbuds lose their pairing with your phone, or for pairing with a new device, pressing the small, circular button situated between the earbuds in the Charging Case for 2 seconds initiates a re-pairing mode. I should note here than I never had to re-pair the EarFun Air earbuds with my iPhone XR, not even once. This is a huge win and something that has never happened with any of the true wireless earbuds that I’ve reviewed. We are not particularly fond on this kind of design for in-ear headphones. We usually find that the rigid and long “tail” extending down from the main earpiece, offers nothing else than a bigger-sized unit but somehow brands such as Apple with their AirPods were able to make people look after this design – and brands follow the trend.
