Jamie Madison son is the MOST adorable kid I have even not met!! He is full of sass, funny and so freakin' cute! The relationship between him and his mum is amazing and the way he views garrett at first it's sad that he has had to feel that way but oh so sweet. His relationship with Garrett is perfect too.

I didn't enjoy this book mainly because I hated both main characters and I didn't like the romance at all. The only good part of the book was her best friend and son, and that's it. He judged her without knowing her, just from a conversation he overheard. Hence, he started growling and scowling her way (alpha bullshit).and yes, this was a romance. but more than that, this was Madison’s journey as a single mother doing the best she could in a society who had already judged her as unworthy. tries to knit baby blankets for you to donate to the local women’s shelter you help out at because you’ve been struggling to find the time to make them yourself. Madison gave her heart to a boy at the age of sixteen, but all she got in return was a broken heart and a swollen belly. Alone with a baby and desperate for the love she hadn’t found, she turned to a man who sealed his claim of devotion with a diamond ring. He promised her a family. A life. A future. so by default, i was gonna love this. it really gave me everything this trope does so well— the cute kid, the sexy neighbour who’s a grump but a big softie, the sweet heroine, the slow pining and tension, the fun best friend... yeah, this one just hit. As a single mom juggling multiple jobs, college, and the judgment of other moms, Madison is nervous.
